I take a look at one as a targeted ads after checking out san martin's Sn102G and i have to admit that i fell in love. Especially the hrudland with red wine colored dial. I think it looks dressy AF for a pilot watch, i love it.
This is a homage to the Longines Heritage 1935 which I in fact just purchased a few days ago. I’m waiting for it to be delivered. Great homage watch & a great review by Gary as always.
Gary you should check out the Baltany 1926 with mother of pearl dial. Absolutely gorgeous! Small-seconds, onion crown. Even more true to the style of the day.
Czech Air Force WWII era Oversized Pilot watch. Made by Longines, Lemania & Eterna, Sub Second dial was Longines, w/coin edge bezel. Eterna & Lemania made centre sweep dials, no bezel. Homage here is kind of a composite of the three. This Hruoland back engraved: Property of Military Admin in Czech. Both Longines & Eterna have made re-creations of their vintage originals.

I like this one a lot, I just wish they had a black dial with white lume, kind of tired of the “vintage” lume. I know Baltany is hitting the 36 size pretty hard, but this one would be cool downsized

Looks good - wish the movement hacked... I'm looking for the red / maroon / burgundy dial watch. Would have seriously considered with a hacking movement and with some brushing on the case. I also like to have a date complication... It still looks nice though... Lol... 🙂
Nice case and dial although 38mm might have been better. The movement is economical, but my hand winding Merkur is playing up so I'm not ina hurry to buy another Chinese movement 😞
Another nice watch by an unpronouncable brand. Reasonable Sea-Gull movement and very nice leather strap, beautifully finished case. The price is suprisingly low for such quality.
Im fkin lovin this brand..everyones doing that Zenith pilot homage but these guys...i want that watch. I want the watch in this clip. I want the fuggennnn pilot w that turbine..this brand rocks
I hope there's a language somewhere in the world where 'Hruodland' means something because it just sounds like a confusing jumble of random letters to me. I could never buy a watch from this brand in case someone asked me about it and I was unable to pronounce a meaningful answer. A shame because it's an otherwise decent looking bit of kit.
@@mayorofrlyeh8042 Thank you for the info. Not sure I'd want to have to explain that to literally everyone who asked what sort of watch it was lol. Personally I think the Chinese would do well to lean into their heritage with pride. Look at brands like Toyota and Seiko. Chinese makers should name their companies after the city where the factory is, the company founder, or any other local points of interest rather than pretending to be old French or whatever. If you're going to make up or borrow a word, it had better be catchy as heck like Rolex. Just my 2c
