Today we will continue working with the large oak burl. After using Oneway Easy Core, we still have another piece from which we will make a smaller bowl today. We will also sand the outside up to 4000 grit. Despite the smooth surface after using the scraper, we start sanding with 40 grit to avoid unwanted matte spots on the finished product.
CAUTION: In the video shown, using gloves on lathe IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED for safety reasons! I'm forced to use them because of my skin allergy to wood dust. Therefore, I have to work slowly and with my fingers at a distance than when working without gloves. In responsible and dangerous situations, I work without gloves. ALWAYS FOLLOW SAFETY PRECAUTIONS!
