Yep. Bought a nice '68 Skylark. Built a 1967 430 from a 225. Bored .030, TRW 10:25 forged pistons, flycut valve relief (sent to TA Perf). I did all the oil mods, had the block zero decked. TA Stage 2 SE heads, (original heads had cracks in valve seat area) Stage 2 headers, roller rockers, Roller 413 cam, Johnson lifters, TA timing cover with their pump. Oil line distributor oiling. threaded front gallery plugs, and drilled for oil feed to timing/distributor gear train. B4B intake, Tremec TKX, 1970 Olds 442 8.5 rear with Yukon 3:42 and Eaton Truetrac, HEI and FiTech EFI. Complete UMI adjustable 4 link in the rear. She's a beast. (and quite the sleeper) Meet "Tonya Harding"...
Pacific Northwest. I charge my cost on parts and the machine shop labor I pay then add a couple of hundred for me. That said, it depends on the condition of the core engine for part costs and machine shop costs.
