Not being used to potential. Run into brush and 4" up to 6 trees' with trunks towards right side of cutter head- it will suck them in and shread them. Keep the cutter on the ground as much as possible to mulch everything. It's not intended to be used like a rotary cutter. It'll take down 8" plus trees if your patient
I went to clean a yard similar to this one in northern Colorado and found a Prairie Rattlesnake, 'cause I started with the Husqvarna brushcutter, along the edges of the land, corners, around of trees and plants that would not come out. I used a FAE roller forestry mulcher on a Yanmar mini excavator. At the beginning of the pandemic, I returned to Brazil.
That disc cutter looks like it works ok to cut down saplings, but it doesn't mulch very easily. Unless a person wants the wood for kindling or a bon fire I'd say a drum mulcher would have been quicker and would leave behind a finer mulch. Also the cutting path would be wider.
Either way it looks nice. And I see from other videos, when put to the ground it mulches fine. I thought maybe the owner didn't want everything down to the ground anyways. Some people don't like that look.
