Thank Jebus this is illegal in most civilized parts of the world. Religion is like your junk, you can be proud of it but it should never be brought out at work, in public, or around minors and non consenting adults. Doing this at work is a great way to end up sued and a fast way to lose your best employees as intelligence and faith are generally inversely correlated.
Calling the first group “another crew” is being generous. That cut has all the hallmarks of being done by a lawn crew (or someone similar). No legitimate tree service would make that nightmare of face/hinge/ back cut!
The deliverance of this job is impeccable. I’m thankful for guys like you and videos like this. There are way to many tree services out here doing bad work so it’s nice to see guys who take the time to analyze, plan, then attack the job with precision and excellence. You guys did a great job! The backhoe bucket serves as bucket, a grapple and the actual reasoning it opens up is to use the backside of the bucket as a dozer. The are quite capable and very handy. I love the fact you said prayer before commencing to work as well. 10/10 guys good job. I hope to be as well put together as you guys in the future. I don’t know it all but I love doing tree work and I love doing things the right way, the safe way and you guys nailed it!
I used to be often called in to fix that kind of problem. I am a skilled faller and still practice different techniques when there are no structures close. Any time structures are close, lines are used even when I know I can safely drop the tree without them.
Any time I’m about to do a job I think ‘if I fuck it up, will another guy talk shit about my work’ and so far I haven’t fucked up terribly. But this thought process motivates me
Not an expert by any means, had a few that had me sweating buckets. Words can't describe when the project hits the ground followed by a big sigh and a relaxing of every muscle. I know my limitations and am not afraid to call in a pro when I'm out of my league.
Wrap a stretch recovery strap to the base of the trunk and take off in a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Now that would be entertaining and actually less dramatic and get the job done quicker. Been there and done that .
Thank you for the interest. I hope you can find an ethical tree service in that area. Ironically, I’ve been hired before by one client who lives in Charlotte. He first used us for a rental property in the Nebo area, liked our work, and afterwards didn’t trust other services’ pricing for his primary home in Charlotte. We came up with a good plan (he rented a chipper instead of us hauling ours) and we were able to give him a great product despite the long distance. It’s not always possible, but sometimes it works. Feel free to call me if you can’t find anyone local.
Well not knowing and not saying are two different things, reiterating - not privately knowing at all who did that work and not publicly saying - you might want to have an explanation because you may cross paths with their work in the future - will it all be questionable or was this an unfortunate case.
HEY BROTHER'S HOPE YOU ARE OK..IN THIS 🌀 HURRICANES...WAS THINKING ABOUT YOU..WE JUST GOT RAIN..MOSTLY...HOPE YOUR ABOVE WATER AND WORKING SAFE..LOV YA..PRAISE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST...let me know your ok....
You were nice about it but whoever tried to fall that tree needs to stop before he gets hurt or destroys someone’s house. Awfully hard to wedge a tree over 90 degrees off its lean with that angled back cut.
Just curious buddy you did a really good job first of all second of all if another crew messed up why couldn't they fix their mistake why did you have to come fix it I'm just curious thank you so much God bless
We got called from a family member of the client who had hired us before. They didn’t trust the plan or expertise of the other crew, so they had them leave.
@@blueoakats okay I understand I thought the other crew dropped the tree that way and they couldn't fix the problem I'm thinking well they shouldn't be a tree service then LOL great job
@@br-dj2ti Sometimes we get in over our heads, it's not a failure when we need to get help, it's all part of the learning process. Bummer for the homeowner that he was part of the process.
@@JamesSmith-gw6xd When using a sloped backcut/farmers cut, it's very difficult to match your gunning cut and to determine just how thick your hinge is. Another issue is that when you are cutting a tree that has a back or side lean, you can break the holding wood as the pressure from wedging is pushing the stem in the direction of the sloped backcut, rather than transferring the pressure created by the wedge up the stem and forcing the stem and the canopy over. Please, don't use them.
Nobody do such cut only ussually homeowner. People have no idea so ussual thing they do they cut like in here thinking if they cut in such angle it will not drop other way. Its dumb and wrong. Sio this is don by homeowner
