Campark sent me their external microphone for review (although still not available for purchase). It appears very similar to your Akaso microphone, and also has very good audio. What is the length of the Akaso cord? The Campark microphone has a braided cord that is 60in long (152cm). Nice, informative video.
Wow... A budget camera like the Campark V30, Firefly 8SE, Akaso V50X and others plus a cheap gimbal is a winner. You will have superb stabilization, a powerbank included in the gimbal (for charging the camera), a lot of camera mounts and accesories, and the big plus: good external audio, for much less than a Gopro, DJI or Insta360
Indeed! Withing $200 yo can have awesome vlogging setup. If only they had shutter control... That was about to enable us using filters, and that can achieve awesome cinematic footage.
As soon as there is power coming from the car cigar lighter - it will power up the camera and start recording. Once the engine is off - the camera shuts down. All that - automatically.
i'm having trouble solving this problem of mine: should i get a cheap, NEW camera like this one, akaso v50x, xiaomi seabird, etc... or a cheap, OLD one such as the gopro hero 6, yi lite, or thieye t5? new ones are $85-$100; older ones are $50-$90. i am trying to cross-compare the footage between channels but i can't do that. im leaning towards getting a used yi lite for $60, but i was wondering what you would say. any help?
Tech4All alright, i’ll keep an eye out. personally do you think the akaso v50x/campari v30 best out old cams like the thieye t5e or yi lite? kinda curious :P
Hi there Michael, Great reviews as usual. Have been looking at the Akaso V50x and the Campak X30, are they similar and which one do you think is better? Thanks
1) When you change the battery, does it keep the timestamp or do you have to input the date and time again?; 2) Is the resolution good enough to read licence plates?
@@TechMishka Update Aug 2021. All year the date and time were retained when the battery is changed until just a few days ago. I wrote to Campark and they said it was normal because the camera does not have an internal battery. So it doesn't look like support is going to investigate a fix for this. This camera is no longer listed in Amazon.
2 years late to the party brought one couple days ago and absolutely love the quality of the build and functionality my only quibble is that the built in camera is absolutely terrible so have to record without audio
I would like to hear your opinion…which camera is better campark v30 or akaso v50x ? ( I want it for sport and mostly ) By the way thank you because through your video I found what’s best for me
AUD price comparison - Akaso V50x $150 free delivery, Campark V30 $110 free delivery, or SooCoo C30 $101 shipping is $3 lol. What would you buy? Just trying to not get stiffed on a gopro, when i won't be needing all their add-ons etc. Appreciate your input, keep kicking goals! cheers ✌
Hey MrWhatevz, I'd honestly recommend buying second hand GoPro Hero 7 or 7 if you can find at good price. As for these options - the Campark sounds very tempting!
Hey Boss, do you have a suggestion for a good low light cam with good audio under $100? This one looks pretty good compared to other budget cameras for low light. Is the internal mic good?
Hi Mihail, I just bought this camera right now Camera V30, Ext Mic and Microsd 32gb all for $115,98 usd I hope I have make a good choice, Mihail thank you for your review, Best Regards from Portugal
I know you said it's "even" but I do have to know, since before buying, I like research and know for sure - Which one is newer? This one? The Akaso V50X Or v50pro? Which would you recommend? This one? Akaso V50X? Or v50pro? Thank you.
Hi Hen, hopefully my response is not too late; The Akaso V50Pro is the oldest from these, and is based on Sunplus/iCatch processor/chipset. The V50 X arrived later, and short after it - the Campark V30.
Nice Video ❤️. Exactly to the point👍. Loved it. But I see on amazon there is an external mic from the Campark company itself @t . As you mentioned, v50x external mic supports this Campark v30 model. Which one should I choose? And request you to please provide the external mic amazon link that you currently use, the one In the description lands me to a different page.
Awesome review video! I ordered mine a couple days ago.... still has not shipped, but I am not in a huge hurry anyways. I sent Akaso v50x back due to other problems. I should have bought the external mic when I had the chance as amazon is out of them. Thanks again!
Thanks for the review. Bought one today for £46 or $64 from ebay. I know we are now 17 months on, but it still looks good value/performance for the money.
Depends on how you use the camera. For a single video and no screen during that time - around an hour. For shorter clips - it may last for 30-40 minutes.
If you record for a prolonged period of time, some people believe there is such. I haven't had any. Make the files to be chunked every 2-3 minutes and it will be fine.
@@TechMishkaThanks for the answer. I would like to know the exact model, it should be the same of v50x (imx458), but I am not sure cause I cant find that info all over the web
good review. i think the campark is better than akaso both in term of image quality and audio. truly good camera. i'd like to se more stabilisation test like on a bike handle bar. thank you for the review
You can check Dreki Tech's review - he rides a bike a lot. It is winter here, and I am not that extreme (yet)😎 Stabilization is up to par with the V50 Pro. And maybe they've squeezed a little more than Akaso from that hardware base. But I generally think they are the almost the same.
Great review of a good camera. I got mine a couple weeks ago, and I'm more than pleased with it. Thanks for the tip about the mic. Campark told me I could Paypal them the money and they'd send me the mic - it's easier just to order from your Amazon link, which I'm doing right now. My only issue with my V30 is that the app seems horrible. Look at the reviews. A few people give it a positive rating, most give it a negative rating. It asks for extra permissions, freezes up, won't connect. Did you try it? If so, how did it work for you?
Yeah, it uses an app which is generally used for Dashcams, and is not developed by Campark in my opinion. And is indeed horrible. I thought about trying the Akaso app, but didn't have the time to :( I hope Campark will hear their community and work on that. And about the microphone - did they name a specific model? I tried to find one on their website, without success though...
