Im glad you still playing kazuya ranked matches and don t drop him. I start to play Kazuya in tekken8 thnks to you helping me with some depression issues and now im on fujin. For all his weaknesses, Kazuya is one of the strongest characters in the game at the wall + his Devil form is so good! So nice to see the Kaz v Kaz gameplay at the start too
If only it were as easy as he makes it. Kaz's extremely tight and unforgiving hurtboxes is leaving me with such a massive learning curve coming from T7.

Hellsweep? wgs.df 4,2 -> low mid, transitions into heavens wrath if you hold down. Easiest to do by just holding down forward and inputting 3,4,2. or wgs.df 4,4 -> low low (less recommended) wgs.df means: wind god step, hold down forward. so: df3 hold df. Hope that helps!
I got my 2 first pluggers today. That's sad knowing that the only thing you have to do to beat me is doing throws or spam all the lows you want cause i'm gonna take them all ! Really had to work on that tho asap lmao.
is anyone noticing a devil jin bug right now? after a sidestep 2 you get a free 75 damage 3 hit combo if you hold up and hit 2 again. don't know if this is working for anyone else, i assume it's bugged because dvj basically teleports into the air with no animation.
i feel like kaz should have access to a lot of the extra heat moves like devil twister(except the aoe roar obv) and what not doesnt make sense why he cant when the use cases are already so far and few plus giving jin and reina two electrics when kaz is the electric guy is just pure hating
Quick question, at 10:20 do you do micro dashes in between 314 31 ? It doesnt look like it but when i try doing that combo without it the 31 doesnt connect. Am i doing something wrong ?
The wavedash cancel isn’t my problem. I cant connect the 31 without micro dashing after 314. And it doesn’t look like tmm is doing dashes thats why I asked if i‘m doing something wrong. Also the opener I‘m using doesn’t make a difference, after ewgf 314 if i’m not dashing 31 wont connect .
You can either micro dash, which I do for consistency, or you can time it where both will hit, but it's tight timing and very slightly less wall carry.
Imo hitbox , only go for stick if you want to replicate the arcade experience. I think you will find way more benefit with hitbox imo. However it is likely you will find a stick for a lot cheaper (I think , never check how much that Razer or vitrix hitbox is). This is my opinion though.
if youre a big keyboard guy, hitbox might feel more natural. but in tekken its mostly preference on what controller you use. i switched from pad to stick a few years ago and backdash cancelling feels really satisfying
He is not competing because of also his level of play is no way near what it needs to achieve anything. That and his mindset can never hope to compete and grow over the years. Ranked online don't equal player skill of tournament players. Few majors where he even (including evo) he sadly got smoked by randos
