I disagree with Westbrook being benched. Westbrook helps push the pace of this generally slow team, which helps get open shots on fast-breaks. He is definitely necessary in that starting lineup.

I think the clippers just screwed themselves , cause one they only way this works is if everybody stays healthy and you bring Russ off the bench . But Russ only gonna be happy with that , if they winning / got championship potential. But the biggest thing , once one of the main stars like Khawi or PG go down , the inflexibility of this team is going to be shown . Cause you can’t have Russ and harden on the floor at the same time without one of them becoming a cone .

I don’t see how ANY Clipper fan can be excited and optimistic about Harden joining them. No defense/not efficient, unless he gets to the ft line, which means he needs to iso/ball stopper.

I think the clear choice for the Sixers now is to go after OG Anunoby at the trade deadline. He's the perfect fit next to Embiid and Maxey, he knows Nurse's system, and he wants out of Toronto. Send a FRP and a swap for him with Marcus Morris and build the Sixers with more roleplayers next summer to really contend in 2025/2026 as the Bucks also age out of top-tier contention

The sad truth is that Philly was going to lose when they traded Harden. They were never going to get a ton of draft capital or a player equal to or greater than Harden in return. The reason why is because when you look past the surface, Harden is getting older and will demand a trade for the smallest of reasons. It makes teams avoid picking up the phone to offer something. When the Clippers make their interest known, no one else did. So Philly wasn’t going to have a trade auction where they could set the bar and other teams would have to match it or outbid the other teams. The ball was in LAC’s court and they could trade whatever they wanted and the Sixers wouldn’t be able to demand for more.
