Hi Andrew!!! I saw his shadow. I thought the disclaimer in the beginning was so funny. I think because I only carry my cles, keys and a chap stick… it works for me lmao. But not until I found a scarf to keep the cross body attachments down!!!! I can see how annoying the bag would be when you carry heavy items because like you said it becomes too heavy for you to take the items out and close the bag.

It is made intended as a toiletry bag, sits on a surface - sink, vanity, table etc. while you’re at it. But as a handbag these are the common probs that you might encounter. Very lovely otherwise 💕

I originally wanted all 3 sizes, but backed away when I realized I may not use them like I’d like to. They should release the Nano in other colors. Maybe I’d consider. It is a cutie though!

You're cat in the back, so cute!!! And love the cute nice nano but i would just use it as a makeup bag or cosmetic bag. It's not pratical but I have to admit it's super cute.

I love mine so much but I use it as my vanity make up bag. And it’s used everyday. I tried to use it a handbag and as cute as it was it was not practical at all. I was gutted when the vachetta got stained after I took it to my baby shower party and food got in it. However, after cleaning it, it doesn’t look as bad as I thought it did. And I love how pretty it sits on my vanity table. Makes me feel excited to do my make up. If you don’t find use for it sell it for sure. Maybe even hold off on it and sell once prices go higher. I think this bag will be worth more next year.

I sold mine few months ago without using because I feel cumbersome to zip around the purse. I know i have regretted and I preferred using the pochette accessories which cost around the same price as nice nano. Thanks for sharing.

I would sell too...I love the DIY hack, it's definitely a beautiful little piece. But if it won't serve your lifestyle, I'd say it's better to let her go. I love how you mentioned functionality, and that is so important, especially when we accessorize handbags.

I still think the way you envisioned to wear this is great, for events/parties etc. So maybe, give it another try when you’re actually out where it looks pretty but you don’t need to be using it as much, maybe going in for a touch up of your lipstick or something but basically on a day with minimal use (but I get it, it is $$$ at the end of the day to be used for just looking pretty)

I bought the Gucci cosmetic train case ($690 usd) for this same reasoning and idea. I have experienced the same issue with opening and closing but not a deal breaker for me…yet. I don’t mind it adorning my vanity when I’m not using it as a “handbag”.

It is very cute but getting in and out would drive me crazy and I wouldn’t use it either. If you think it wasn’t worth it then it wasn’t, no matter what anyone else says. If you aren’t using it for anything and it’s bothering you then definitely sell. It’s a good time because canvas items are so hard to find.

If you get an bag organizer for it, it will add some structure to the sides and make it easier to open/close.

Functionality is what matters! I say sell it and use the money towards a bag on your wishlist!!!

I just got a notification from LV yesterday saying that the Nano nice is available online but of course it was sold out by the time I saw the email and clicked on the link. I definitely won't be getting this to use as a bag as it won't be functional as one. I think its better as a cosmetic bag but can I spend that amount on a cosmetic purse probably not. Ill get one from Guess. Its cute but if its not functional its pointless. I wear makeup too so I won't be able to fit much. Thanks for helping me not fall into the temptation of another LV bag lol:)

Definitely sell it, a year is more than enough time to see if a bag is working for you. I never really got on the trend of the vanity bags... they dont really seem practical and the zipper would annoy me too much

I think you should sell it if you plan on using it as a bag instead of a vanity case. The opening would bother me as well and I’m sure the normal vanity pm has the same cumbersome opening too. Also the vanity pm has the more structured top handle which pokes your body when your open the bag.

It’s soo cute, but that’s not enough of a reason to keep if it’s not functional for you. I wanted this piece impulsively, but never purchased for this exact reason! I would say sell! If you’re still not 100% sure, force yourself to use it for another week and weigh the pros and cons again😊

I saw the video back when you first bought the vanity case/bag and thought it was cute, and still think its super cute now but the functionality part would annoy me too. However i think it would look gorgeous on a vanity table. Is it worth it? Ah to each their own. Myself I would rather spend the additional $ on a bag I would use more often.

You can just hold the handle while you’re wearing it as a crossbody just like the way you opened it and closed it on the later part of your video

This is exactly why I did not buy the Vanity PM! I tried it on in store and it was a pain to get in and out of and the zipper was not smooth! Definitely not worth it!

I don't fully understand the whole toiletry to handbag trend, if you need or want a handbag... get a handbag lol. This little gem is absolutely adorable and is great if used for what it's meant for. Great piece for holding cosmetics on your vanity, holding jewelry or smaller toiletry items in your luggage when traveling or even used as a catch all. But a handbag? In my opinion no way.
