This is our 3rd song by LoveBites!! These ladies continue to put on an amazing show!!! Pure talent!! #2024 #metal #musicreactions #reactionvideo #couplesreaction #lovebites #lovebitesreaction @LOVEBITES_jp
Great reaction ! Asami (the lead vocalist) mentioned that she wanted a winter ballad for their 3rd LP "Electric Pentagram" and she co-composed this masterpiece. For a song that has the best of both worlds in terms of slow and fast plus more piano, check out a progier track - "Edge of the World" LIVE : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UZjxMjBop7w.html
@@TheCyberMantis This might just be me, but do you feel the label of ballad is sort of limiting? For example: To me A Frozen Serenade has a lot of diversity/changes (like in speed), making the label of ballad (as some call it) sort of limiting; like trying to box it in. I just think of it as an intelligently written song that displays a wide range of musical talent. For a future album, I just hope for more diverse or progressive elements in general.
LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade lyrics: Crystal tears Falling from the skies Veiling fears The emptiness inside Time is just passing by Killing me under the soft twilight A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade One life ends And one life begins Evanesce To our origins When I'm lost on my way Lead my heart and guide me with your grace A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you Seasons may pass, but its beauty will never fade away All living things are precious and irreplaceable Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky If only I could wish to see you once more ----- lyrics: asami music: asami & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) & Mao album: Electric Pentagram 01/29/2020
Totally agree "Edge of the world" is a great song, but it is not a ballad, begin as a ballad but the second half is not. The only ballad as far as i know is "Epilogue".
Yes, this is another masterpiece by Lovebites; it shows their versatility. For heavy stuff: “The hammer of wrath”, “Break the wall”, “Winds of Transylvania”, “Thunder vengeance”, “MDO”, “Above the Black Sea”, “Under the red sky”, “When destinies align”. For softer: “Chopin etude + Swan song “, “Edge of the world”, “Empty daydream”, “Epilogue”, “Liar”, “Spellbound”. All live
One of Lovebites best.. This concert was under covid restrictions, "applause only" and btw Miyako ( dk haired guitarist/piano) is very well along in her pregnancy at this time .

Miyako is the guitarist/pianist and she recently came out with an EP of metal songs she converted to classical piano. Asami, the lead singer, is also a ballet dancer.
They are all incredible, but Mitako playing piano withh a guitar strapped over her chest and then jumping back up to shred with Midori... it's always mesmerizing to watch her play effortlessly. They just never miss, About 55-60 to go in their catalog.
Thank you for reacting to Frozen Serenade. These ladies are so talented. I don't if this is true or not, but this was their last concert in 2021until they got Fami, their new bassist. From what I was reading that Miyako guitarist with the black hair was 5 months pregnant when she did this concert. Somebody let me if this is true or not. If it true I thought I would inform you two since your expecting. Really like your channel. Rock on!
My favorite LOVEBITES song, and it's played perfectly. I think this song is the only time I've seen Miyako play a LOVEBITES song using a guitar with single coil pickups and without visible wood grain. It's obviously a Strat body, but it's from a brand named Infinite, a brand I know nothing about beyond it's a Japanese brand.
Well if you want more piano try these great songs: Swan Song with Chopin piano intro LIVE ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dcMVtrvpJpk.html Great piano and guitar work. Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES.😀 That's a great impression.👍👍👍👍👍 Thank you for your continued support of LOVEBITES.🙏 I hope you will experience a cinematic journey through the following songs!🎶 "Edge of the World"(Live 2020)
Your Lovebites adventure continues! I fell in love with this band 6 months ago and haven’t listened to anything else since!❤. As you can see from my avatar, the ink says it all!😁
Thanks for coming back with Lovebites. I count this as one of perhaps two dozen true masterpieces in rock history, right up there with Kashmir and Bohemian Rhapsody.
Welcome Guys, Thanks for continuing your support of Lovebites 🤗🐺 If you like piano, you will probably enjoy Miyako's piano transcriptions of a number of metal songs such as Burn from Deep Purple, Eagle Fly Free from Helloween and The Loner from Gary Moore. You will find the playlist on YT at 'miyako - topic' under Etude Opus 23. I think you probably would have noticed Miyako's baby bump during this song. This concert in 2021 was nearly 2 hours long, and she stayed the course without a break . Tough Lady !
Lovebites are awesome, I'll probably see them live in about two months and I'm pretty excited. I'd recommend Broken By The Scream (the newest song on their channel is called Moonlight Lovely Stripe in English) and Gacharic Spin (songs I Wish I, MindSet or Baku Baku) to check out next. There are actually many more great bands from there, but I'll leave it at that ...
Great reaction, tnx. As others mentioned if you like more piano, check out "Ege of the world", also best metal ballad in this century IMHO "Epilogue" where they play on 7 instruments (+ 2 acoustic guitars + piano). Finally if you want even more acoustic piano, check out masterpiece "Swan song with Chopin intro" where Miyako is killing on piano. Use this and only this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dcMVtrvpJpk.htmlsi=3_LwzRluH6RqVDU3 others either have bad audio or intro is missing. Rock on ✌
Another great band you should check out is Unleash the Archers out of Canada. They have great songs with incredible technical ability and the voice of Brittney Slayes. Listen to Awakening.
