I just received my first Mikov 241 with Stag scales. I bought the version that has the screw driver/cap lifter, can opener and cork screw. What a beast, a real handful, but a real beauty. Impressed with the quality. Old world craftsmanship comes to mind. It wasn't cheap, but the "good stuff" never is.
I finally " pulled-the-trigger" on some quality autos. The specific ones you want aren't always in stock and often overpriced when they are. I recently got myself two "classic-style" European autos. A Mikov in black abs w/pocket clip and an ebony AKC Slimline. Both hot knives, different type and variation on a dagger/stiletto euro-auto yet equally satisfying. The Mikov is heavy, solid, durable. It has the size weight, feel and heft of a full tang knife. Definitely planning on getting another in a different handle material but a clip is a must. That's one of the appeals for me. Classic-inspired styled, european, quality-autos w/clips are hard to find. When I noticed a vendor had some in stock at appropriate prices, I pounced. I already missed one opportunity a few months back when some good models went out of stock quick.
@@VirginiaWolf88 check ur laws Wolf...a lot has changed regarding autos in the ladt couple of yrs...might be legal now. They were illegal here but not anymore. Thanx fur watchin' man!✌
I just received an ABS version from BladeHQ. The leverlock doesn’t spring back flush when you close the blade. Do you think it’s an issue or the way they’re made now? They had 5 in stock when I ordered mine and now they’re sold out.
For a pocket knife ,dagger style blade not a problem . You’re going to shear off the lock pin before the blade gets even one stress fracture at the corner of the square.
