Nice hairdo hun! Regarding the uneven sides, which isnt looking bad at all btw, it could be your curl patterns differ. For instance when I'm editing my videos , I notice that one side is a lot more curly than the other while the other side is more elongated , making it appear like one side is longer. When the curls are stretched I'm pretty sure that they are the same length. This could be a reason why. Don't want you cutting your hair unnecessarily, but your decision. God bless!

Love this hair style. I'll definitely try it to video call someone special. Your hair might be easier to define now because it's longer. My theory is that as hair grows, it is heavier so the curls are weighed down and get looser. My 4c hair never had a curl pattern but now that it is long, water alone has my curls popping.

The hairstyle turned out very cute. Makes you look young though (not sure your age, so you could be as young as you look lol). Think I'll try tomorrow. One side of my hair is thicker than the other, so when I do my puffs one is always puffier and I have to finesse the other lol.

That’s how it was/is for me, my left side was noticeably shorter (to me) at first for a while, I even asked my mom about it (she’s gave me a “trim” once- not happening again) she said she couldn’t notice. Anyways I read it could be because it’s the side you sleep on.

Hey Jess..my hair does the same thing at the back ..one side shrinks more than the other leaving my hair looking lopsided (both sides are the same length when stretched) .. it's sooo annoying 🤦🏽‍♀️.The style is super cute on you tho!!😊

Be careful with the banding because it can cause breakage in the middle of those sections if too tight 😞
