I still annoyed about the choice. They had a lot of great options to choose from and they pick a tahr? Poor, poor choice imo.

the original one they showed might not be the most interesting fur type, but I think it does something I haven't seen anything else in the game do. It has scars. It's face and maybe it's haunches have what look like claw marks on them, meaning that that variation is considered a great one because it's SURVIVED A TIGER ATTACK. Which is awesome.

I feel people jumped the gun too quickly when the first variation got revealed. Reminds me of when the spirit bear was the first variation revealed for the great one black bear and people got mad right away.

This is the first GO I am super excited about. Tahr is right up my alley. I don't know though if the seven fur variations are really for the GO or for the tahr in general, either way, super stoked. This map is gonna be amazing and my top 3 most anticipated animals are now tahr, Tibetan Fox, and yak. I fully agree, the tahr needs to be put on Te Awaroa asap. I prefer to hunt on maps where I am not killed every other minute, and I think, between tigers, snow leopards, yak and water buffalo, I will become part of my own trophy lodge in no time🤣

Now we're OK with doing non dlc great ones can we get a big great one update someday in the future where we get a couple of great ones for species that already exist. Mule dear, elk and fox great ones would be so sick.

If it's possible to put them on mountain slopes they should rework sheep and MTN goats to do the same. I can't wait for the great one of every species. It's make hunting everything way more fun in my opinion

I fell like thig g1 was made for me lol. Seriously I wanted a goat g1 along with tahr being added. And both of the fur types we have seen are esentially my two favourite types of g1 furs for both the bear and moose.

I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of (very) disappointed that it's the tahr. I was really hoping for something like Rocky Mountain Elk. Back in the day I even provided them with a cool antler variation that could be part of the Rocky Mountain Elk great one. I'm going to go tag you in my post on the Discord if that's okay. I apologize in advance if that's a nuisance.

It's cool and all but someone who doesn't know anything about them might think that that is a small one. I feel like the other horny variations will be insane because if not and they are like those, I feel like the tahr won't really be a common great one that people can grind for

Not happy at all with the Thar great one. I think EW is missing what we want completely. They took one year and the most exciting news is the tigers and even they look like they are going to be small. Very disappointed at EW, VERY!!!

I must have something wrong with me, this map and animals just get worse with every update I see. No drink zones for tigers (not sure bout the leopards) and I find the tahr an incredibly boring animal to look at. The feral goats look better. With that said, I sincerely hope you all have an absolute ball playing it. Maybe I'll eventually see something that interests me. Rock on crow, rock on.

They literally never said anything about tigers not drinking. That was just rumors, and im sure you will see more stuff during the early access coming up!
