We ventured to Northwest Ohio to check out Harrison Lake State Park in Fayette, Ohio. The campground is a short drive off of the Ohio Turnpike. On our way to the campground we received a call from the @WanderingWagners , who had already arrived. Mike let us know that our site was pretty sloped even though the reservation site said "slight" slope. When we arrived we used the LevelMatePro to find the best spot on the pad that would take the least amount of leveling. We then headed over to Bill & Val Porter's site for some sloppy joes! When camping with the Wagners, one thing is guaranteed, - rain! It rained a lot of the day on Saturday, but luckily it stopped toward the evening. @TravelswithDelaney Patrick & Patty were also camping at Harrison Lake. They went LIVE on their RU-vid channel and invited us and the Wagners to join. @TheRoadsWeRoam and @RandisAdventures were also in the LIVE chat. It was fun answering a few questions with everyone that joined. After the LIVE chat was over we had a campfire in the Porter's site. Patrick and Patty and the Wagners joined. Luckily the weather was better on Sunday and we were able to explore the campground a little more minus the rain.
There is a north and south section of the campground. We think the north section is a little nicer. There is a large shower house, beach area, basketball and volleyball courts, and number picnic areas. A short walk down the road is a disc golf course.
Verizon phone and data had excellent signal.
