Alright, for starters you never need to look at your hand because your pointer icon is indicative of where you hand is on the screen. All you need to do is get comfortable with this (took me about 2 days) and you're off to the races. There are tablets with the screen you can directly draw on, but they are roughly $700-800 and up. My tablet was only $80 or so which is a much better deal and still does a great job.

No, you can't see the screen on your tablet. The tablet works as a "mouse extinction" if you will. What it does is it allows you to control the mouse as smoothly as if you were drawing on pencil and paper. Do you need to look at your mouse every time you move it? If no, then you'll be fine. It takes a little getting used to in terms of positioning your hand, but a little practice will fix that right up.

I use a wacom bamboo pen tablet. It's certainly not impossible to draw on the computer with a mouse (the first half of my stuff was done entirely by mouse), but if you wanna take the next step I strongly suggest you buy a wacom tablet!

I think it's really cool how you can produce a decent artwork in only one hour! But i just think that if you spent more time on an artwork, you can get way more out of it :) like if you spent 10 hours on a piece, there would be a big difference! :)

No I don't believe they do. Here's a solution, position the tablet so you have a view of your hand on the tablet, or take quick glances at your hand. Otherwise, you're going to have to get used to drawing with your eyes on the screen.

Try looking at your own hands... unless you don't have hands.. which would kinda make drawing hands pretty difficult in the first place... yeah
