You said it before I could, but yeah, Olivier Cresp made this, and he also made a ton of other Mercedes-Benz scents, including Black. Alberto Morillas has also worked on Mercedes-Benz scents, so of course they're always punching above their weight. I think if the exact same scents were made with slightly higher quality materials, maybe adjusted the naturals vs aromachemical ratio a bit, these could all be niche level. Still, for 26 bucks that's a hell of a steal.

Idk why we have low expectations for MB fragrances. I know it’s a car company but for what they charge for those cars it’s not like they don’t have the money to invest in high end fragrances.

Wow, I came to tell you I bought this last weekend at my Burlington. Absolutely my best ever find at Burlington. I found two others in the Man line, Grey and the original, at Ross a few years back. Believe it not, I put it back and left. But then went back later in the day and had to buy it for $26.99. Someone posted a cross between YSL Y and a little Blue de Chanel, and I agree with that. I actually think this is better for me than BDC because it's a little lighter. Can't go wrong for $27.

I received my silver Mugler amen fragrance today. I can't find the notes on it. I hope it is authentic 😂. But it smells so good, it smells like an aquatic mint fragrance 🔥🔥🔥 But I can't find any information about it 😕

At Burlington I found Cremo Sandalwood and Suede and a middle eastern cologne called Vamos Crescent EDP which smells invictus/invictus aqua to me and it performs

Good review, I have this and I like it, but it is not a love. Some times I feel it’s a little too powdery. I have most of the Mercedes standard line, the ones in the heavy and really nice round bottles. The blue one in that line for me is better than Man Bright.

Thanks for sharing this Mark! I can see it being powdery to some. Lots of lavender and pepper so gives off a soapy vibe.

I grabbed this for the same price from my Ross. I’m good with synthetic citrus in openings, but your review is accurate. It’s nice for the price, wish the incense was stronger, but the amber tonka dry down is nice. Not a beast, 4-5 hours on my skin total. At $50 it would be a strong “No” from me, even at $27, there are way better choices if you’re not a collector. But I don’t regret grabbing it.

I bought this last week for $27 at Burlington. it is a very nice fragrance For sure an all-around Blue Fragrance. I have been wearing it for the past three days and I like it. I would never compare it to BDC, but then again, this is 1/6 of the price and from a known designer. I noticed the Hugo Reversed you picked up. Interesting to see it for $29.99. I bought it at Burlington for $24.99 2 months ago. Different Fragrances, but Hugo lasts 30 minutes and this one has good staying power

Hey Gerard. I have seen this a couple of times in my local Burlington. I may be wrong but, I seem to remember that this was a Perfumania or one of those outlet perfume shops scents originally. I think they tried to sell this to me for around $80 when it first came out. Not my cup of tea though. It was very synthetic smelling. Thanks for the video.

I saw yesterday and almost copped but the trolls on fragrantica talked me out of it based on poor performance. Have you had an opportunity to put it through its paces yet? If so can you comment on your experience regarding performance (and how many sprays used to achieve said performance) Thanks

I found it at Ross this past January, and it is the only time I have ever seen it. To me it was ultimately too synthetic. It was a very incense prominent fragrance, very masculine, but just a little too harsh on chemicals. I already have acqua di gio profumo for the incense spectrum of scents, So I got rid of it.

Those MAN DAT ORY (I guess mandatory 🤷‍♂️) fragrances have the Carolina Hererra 212 bottles with crazy magnetic cap for like $10. Lol!

@@gerardgeorge dude DO YOU KNOW when or how ross restock their frag shelves? both my ross are cleaned TF out like serious the one i just was at today 95% cleaned out/raided, the other one was about 85% cleaned out i was just there 3 weeks ago to both stores and they had other stuff i wanted, its long gone now
