The Pvkv III in War Thunder is AMAZING! The Pvkv III takes what the Pvkv II was good at and improves on it by doing the strangest thing you'd expect... making the cannon smaller!
The 57mm Pvkv III only has 88mm of penetration which is just enough to deal with the opponents it faces but has an INSANE reload speed of only 4 seconds. 4 SECOND RELOAD! It does have a solid shot with 100mm of penetration but the APHE shell has TNT filler which makes it super effective!
Swedish Tanks in War Thunder are definitely oddballs. They're incredibly goofy, very flimsy but they definitely work really well. The Pvkv 3 is no exception to this rule. A small gun in a mobile platform with a quick reload and great elevation angles makes this a joy to play!
Sweden have built a masterpiece of silly engineering. VERY fun to play!

@@_invencible_ That's just Gaijin though, they "fix" things in one major patch (they say it's fixed on their end but players of the game STILL encounter the bug they say they fixed) and then when they roll out the next major patch all the "fixes" they have done somehow break.

fun fact, this thing technically could get an apds round that was something like 200mm of pen, and like 1800 meters per second velocity. because sweden thought the 57 could be used during the cold war so they made apds rounds for it. .-.

Ahhhh, good old Sweden. Tank that looks like they just came out of factory at the start of WW2 are in reality a technically cold war era tanks. Ohh and we can't forget them having APDS also. Am I complaining? Absolutely not. That's why Swedish tech tree is one of my favorite

Don't engage targets from spawn, only engage targets that are A: Threatening friendlies, B: Nearby enough to dispatch quickly. C: Stalling/in the top of their manouvers. Rest is just practice, since every AA is different.

The AEC AA (2.7 Britain) can be a nice one to practice with, since it has a decent rate of fire and also gets a roof, making it much more forgiving if they notice you and dive you.

In order to become god-tier at non-radar SPAA you need to be a good pilot. On the ground you're gonna have to think "what movements and maneuvers would i do if i were flying that plane right now?" and lead for that

I was playing yesterday, in an m46. I was stuck repairing my engine and a T-44-100 (which at the time I thought was a normal T-44) pulled in front of me. I went into my sniper scope, and I swear to god Satan was being summoned. T-44 bounce somehow, so I exited the sniper scope and it was a random pair of tracks on the front of my tank. I killed the T-44 (Questionably through the turret), still not sure how he bounced me with the 100mm. Never saw the glitch again.

@@SoundBubble i saw my teammates getting those glitches, so it has to be a server thing also, disabling ''physics suspension animation'' on the right side of graphical settings made them much less frequent (unless its a coincidence that they are less frequent after i turned it off, and I'm being an idiot)

Great stuff as always Odd, love the intros think it's a great addition. I find spawn camping falls under two distinct categories; A. People who only head for the spawns and intentionally spend as much time as possible killing stuff as fast as possible there, B. People who as a team (or in your case as an individual more often) control the map to the point where you have no choice but to fight around their spawns, which is in my opinion a map/gameplay design failure and not a player behaviour failure (which the first point definitely is). You don't fall under A., imo you fall under B.

I'm a big fan of Oddbawz, and commented as well on the spawncamping issue. I really like and fully agree with your categorization, it fits very well what you see in gameplay. However, in my comment I mentioned capturing the objective, then defending it while keeping a respectable distance from the enemy spawns. Small maps too often put spawns at risk, so a short drive past the objectives puts newly spawned players in the sights of multiple players. Bawz is also a fully aced, fully practiced and fulltime player. Not too many of us grinders can compete with that😂.

We need more vehicles like these in the game. Lately I do t care about the modern tank. Give me more low tier fun vehicles. Best vehicles from this update is this Pvkv III, Lancia and BTR (I know the BTR is pretty "modern" but the fact that it is a technical that has his back 2 legs support by a fu king wood makes it great. And of course the fact that Russia really needed /still need more proper SPAAs)

Hear hear! Who really wants to play a high tier tank with an insane repair cost, and then be darted 45 seconds into the match. I’ve grinned up to BR 8.0 but I will never play that high of BR. I play on a MacBook Pro with a 15 inch screen which makes it hard to see some enemies. But, thanks to Odd’s videos I am enjoying much more success.

Seeing this video a year after it was published, while trying to play grbs with a friend and choosing sweden, it is a stab in the heart to see the vehicle at 4.0 BR xD Na, i think they are trying to balance the game... Jokes aside, just today, i got only up-tiers (myself and friend on 2.7 against KV-1 on 3.7...), and it was frustrating because of mostly non pe and even with the sabo ammo on the tier we lost xD Anyways, thanks for your videos! i really enjoy the contend!

That graphical bug is everywhere. The war thunder videos I have seen online recently have all had that bug. I experience it almost every battle and I assumed it was my potato hardware.

I've been playing this, you'll bounce rounds off T34, Pz IV and M4AX. Planes can easily kill you. Sometimes 50 cal can go through the front sights and kill you.

plus comment on spawn camper - you didn't you hit them as they moved from their half of the map in to the middle - do people expect you to sit in your half until they push past the caps??? rubbish... hide & flank and hit them when they are powering forward - sounds like sound tactics to me
