These videos are the best. Do you or anyone happen to have a list of the best consumer CRT brands that are best for arcade tube swaps? I've been checking my local recycling place every few weeks and normally look for TVs with component, so I can still use them for other things just in case. But when you mentioned an RF only TV, maybe I need to reevaluate what I am looking for.
Got an off topic question for you, as you're the only person I know to ask. My UMK3 pcb will not perform any type of finisher (fatality,babality, etc). I've tried both original umk3 amd umk3+ but both act the same. Is there a certain rom/roms that affect finishers? Thanks! (Yes all CMOS settings are set for bloody goodness 😂)
Make sure the dips are set correctly. I’d set them all to off (factory default) and see if that helps. This is assuming you’re performing the falsities correctly.
@mikesamateurarcademonitorr6856 I'll check the dips. When I do a finisher correctly the character will.just freeze for about the time it would take for a finisher and then the game will advance to the tower screen as normal
That’s odd. Never seen that before. If it’s happening with both versions, you could have a bad rom or roms if it’s not the dips. Is everything checking good on the rom check? Nothing red?
@mikesamateurarcademonitorr6856 I feel like an idiot. The damn dip switch was ON... smh. The menu said Fatalities were on but that switch was also turned on instead of off. Lol been pulling my hair out! Thank you!!!!!
Do you think you can do a video on medium res games on a standard res? I really liked the tempest video you did using the GBS converter and was wondering if you could do the same with a medium res game. Great video as always!!
