Since I'm in Florida I find myself wondering what is considered hot in Canada? In our shop last week it averaged 100 degrees in the shade. It does every summer. Worst I remember was 2009 when it was 104 every day in the shop for about 4-5 weeks straight. Plus 85% humidity. 56 Unibrow is lookin slick!

Did you say 1600.00 ? That's what I paid for my first two cars and set of Cragar Super Tricks rims back in the day. ( the 1st car was for the 68' Vette small block and the 2nd for the 66' Chevelle SS body......) .....of course that was way back and only a few years after dinosaurs roamed the earth ! I am starting to perfer the LS swap stuff as its not leaving ME soulless on the side of the road with another breakdown. We have an LS-swapped square-body plow truck with 420K on the motor that's been in the truck 15 years(It had like 300K when it was swapped). I have been waiting for it to grenade since install but the only thing its cost us is a crank sensor, starter, coil packs and oil changes since the swap..... The thing is a tank that runs like a top

I always keep 8 1/2 x 11 pieces of gasket material for emergencies so I can make one in a pinch! I remember back 40 years or so ago they used to sell ground straps you would attach to the rear axel housing and they would drag on the ground! So really grounded! Lol

Im surprised Mur hasn't showed the magnetic arm band, just an arm band you wear that's magnetic and will hold your tools, you need like 4 of them Dan.

Those LS style engine's are the ones bringing home the good stuff! Remember a Chevrolet 3500 truck with a LY6 or L96 LS . So they are that bad. That truck brings all the souls home LS or Not.

Ive had 55,56,57 and I believe the 56 belair is the best looking

That's what Lee did on Clunkers and Classics he pulled the whole drivetrain alone with the wiring harness and ECM out of a 05 Chevy truck and put it in his 67 nomad, he even used the 05 Chevy truck fuel pump with the factory lines and took it on Power Tour and drove a 3500 miles it's has a slight Miss when it's cold, but he's not paying anyone to have it turned...

If you want to save money on assortments of good heavy duty nuts and bolts I would say going to farm supply store you’ll be surprised at the price differences between auto parts stores and home improvement stores. I can appreciate the work you do saving junk and making them cool regardless of what others say . I’m not picky myself and I remember when I was a teenager buying cars and I would do whatever it took to keep them running as money was the issue. For example if I needed a rad and all i could do was take one out of one of my junk ford’s and i needed to fit it into my 68’ Chevy I’d start cutting and hot gluing it to fit even though people thought i was crazy destroying the originality of the car at least I’d be driving again and back then cars were cheap and we’d just drive them till they were too expensive and time consuming to fix. But when I would obtain a vehicle i liked i would do whatever it took to keep it nice and not a debauchery. 👍

You cannot have a short exhaust pipe or it will let air get to the O2 sensor and run like sheet. It should run at least hallf way back or more.

I believe Dan is just trolling when he says that a "LS" is soulless. First of all, I don't think Dan has ever had an actual LS. If done correctly and not se all that garbage truck manifolds and accessory mounting, a gen 3 and gen 4 small block Chevy can look pretty damn good. This is no different than a gen 1 small block as they look pretty terrible with stock valve covers and intake manifold.
