* At 8:02 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 47 nm northwest of Eastchester Bay to 25 nm northwest of Upper New York Harbor to 15 nm northwest of South Amboy, moving east at 40 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
