* Until 11:00 PM EDT.
* At 9:26 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 nm south of Smithtown Bay to 6 nm northeast of Fire Island Inlet to Buoy 44025, moving east at 40 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
* Strong thunderstorms will be near... Buoy 44025 and Great South Bay around 9:30 PM EDT. Moriches Inlet around 9:50 PM EDT. Moriches Bay around 9:55 PM EDT. Westhampton Beach around 10:00 PM EDT. Shinnecock Bay and Shinnecock Inlet around 10:10 PM EDT. Buoy 44017 around 10:40 PM EDT.
