All the games developed by the Rusty Lake: Roots developers are actually part of an overarching and ongoing mystery plot! if you like RL: Roots and RL: Hotel, you'll like all of their other releases, but especially RL: Paradise and Cube Escape: Paradox. There's actually a moderately active RL fandom full of theorizers and creators! Great video! For any future puzzle games it would be nice if you wouldn't skip to having finished the puzzle since the whole point of a puzzle game is to solve it, and I would stick to only fast forwarding through it, but I can understand why you did it for some of them if they were taking you especially long. I can't help but hope for more playthroughs of Rusty Lake games from you, but I'll keep watching regardless!
@didifetchtinger9048 Thank you so much for the comment! I knew the games were loosely linked but I had no idea they were part of a larger story arch, that's super cool! I'd love to play more Rusty Lake for sure. My friend actually purchased both Roots and Paradise for me, so a look at Paradise in the near future is very likely. I'm totally up for finishing Roots as well if there's enough interest, perhaps when one of my current series concludes. Also, thanks for the feedback on the puzzles! I hate showing extended footage of myself bumbling around figuring things out because I feel like it must be super boring to watch, but this feedback is actually super helpful. This is the first time I tried the time lapse, so it's super helpful to know that it works well and might be a good compromise between the two extremes. Thanks again!
@chronos It has that vibe, doesn't it? There's 5 or 6 games in this series and they're all super dark and weird. I think I prefer this game to Rusty Lake Hotel, which I found even more unsettling.
