Acelas don't run on the IOW and I don't know how electrics are running on it either. Possibly 3rd rail but most Acelas have pantographs and are unable to run using 3rd rail power.
+asbood112 WOW, I didn't know that. I thought Acelas ran on the IOW everyday through they're amazing magical powers. (I sincerely hope you are being sarcastic though. The IOW does have electric 3rd rail.
I had not intended for sarcasm but from memory of the original train simulator (MSTS) Acelas do not have the ability to use the third rail like, for example, the DB BR 101 locomotive found in the newest train sim (TS 2016).
