Hey Brian as someone who studies biology, you are absolutely correct. When it comes to any animal/human born with a genetic condition like this, it is always a roller coaster in the beginning. The chances are always stacked against the animal/human. And as you said, once they get to the certain age then it's no longer an issue. I have been following cookies and creme's story since day one and I always prepared myself for this day because of that chance. You tried and that's what counts. You did a fantastic job for what you could do. I'm happy you have found a more established two headed snake as they are extremely fascinating animals in a variety of aspects. I wish the best for you in your journey in the future and for the new snake. Best of luck. ^_^
@@BrianBarczyk No problem at all man. I hope your day gets much better and look forward to that new snake recruit you're getting. ^_^ And thank you for the like. :)
This is accurate. Two headed snakes are really tricky and hard to take care of as well as delicate. I saw it in a documental about this snakes. Perhaps next time you could get a little bit more of information or help with someone who knows more about this incredible snakes that you might get again to give you a hand with it. Still, you are great and doing great, never give up the hope! Also, I love your reptiles so much!
If two headed snakes make you happy to raise them, give them a good home, if it's two weeks or two years, it's worth it to know that they had a good home.
I really can’t believe you think that. I cannot believe what he’s doing to those animals. Whether it’s two weeks or two years he doesn’t care. I strongly disagree.
Branford Families you are actually stupid if he loves a certain type of animal he keeps on trying he doesn’t give up and he loves two headed snakes so he does care and if you think he doesn’t care or you don’t have anything nice to say than shut the hell up
Snakes born with 2 heads usually don't live too long. Plus, experience does not make him always right. Experts make mistakes, and in my opinion I would not be breeding snakes with specific issues. Yes, I may like surfing this channel for the reptiles, mammals, and other creatures. I don't think snakes with neurological or any other issues should be bred. Most two-headed snakes won't even eat for you, snakes with two heads rarely make it past a couple years.
Sorry about Cookies and Cream. It`s a shame but you had warned us at the start of how it might turn out. stay positive. Try to have an awesome day anyways.
It broke my heart seeing poor cookies and cream pass away this morning. I'm so sorry and I wish for a swift recovery and moral even with such upsetting news
Brain, i follow you from 1-2 weeks and today i realy realise how much you love thouse animales. You make me cry when i realy see how much means thouse animals to you. RIP and i hope you will have a peaceful day.
Its not insane to provide a creature with the will to live the help and love it needs to get better, to be healthy to *survive* . Brian, you are a man with a heart of golden scales and such passion and love that all your animals, from frogs, to gecko, big snakes and even crocs, know and love about you! (even with bites, but thats how reptiles show their love sometimes ;D ) And we love you for this as well. Cookies and Cream were going good and strong, but sometimes all will to live is not enough to get past what nature is planning, you see it more than often enough when hatch season comes by, right? Its sad, it brings nasty tears, but sometimes nature has other things in mind.
I completely agree with you and even some one-headed snakes don't make it, it just happens more with two-headed snakes. You are not insane you are just passionate and that's what we all love about you.
Yuubi Timberwolf, snakes don't have the intellectual capacity to have "will to live". They are primitive creatures that rely on instinct. Yes, it's sad that the snake(s) died. That's nature. Abherent animals like that have very slim odds to begin with. You can care for an animal like that, yes. You can try, yes. But you can't provide an animal incapable of "will" with "will to live".
Brian, have you ever had a necropsy done on your deceased two-headed snakes, just to learn about what exactly went wrong? That could be educational, even if it doesn't give ideas about how to help prevent it from happening again, either to you or to others.
God just wanted Cookies n Cream to had a good rest in peace at heaven and god just wanted to protect Cookies n Cream so that Cookies n Cream are safe in heaven, so this world is not cruel god just wanted to protect us from something that is dangerous, so its not worlds or even god fault.Just remember that we still love Cookies n Cream and I am sure Cookies n Cream are happy at heaven now.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Brian! Thank you for taking us along for the journey and don't be sorry. You did everything you can and that's all that matters. Your fans are always behind you 100%
Sorry for the loss of Cookies n Cream. Losing any beloved pet sucks. I am glad to hear about the healthy adult two headed snake that is coming to the Reptarium.
hey Brian, I have been watching your channel for a couple of months and you have really inspired me that its not just mammals that are adorable but its also reptiles. So I asked my parent if I can get a snake when I was 1 and she wasn't sure so I showed her your videos and she said yes I am soo happy and thank you for being a real inspiration to me and to my family. I might getting a western hognose snake or maybe a leopord Gecko. R.I.P Cookies & Creme. Also thank you soo much Brian. xx
It sucks so much with Cookies and Creme she had so much promise in her but we have the future to look forward to with this next snake! Who is by the way a beautiful animal!
So sorry to hear about cookies and cream, it's such a shame. Super excited about the upcoming new arrival though, i'm sure he will do great. Enjoy your day, see you tomorrow 😁
You gave cookies and cream a wonderful life. While short it was filled with love and care. You did good Brian. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You. Did. Good.
He did amazing! And so did the crew! It's sad to see them go, but inspiring to see how much love and devotion BHB gave them while they were here. Fighting the good fight the whole way through.
Unbelievable I’m so sorry for the loss and I know the knowledge you gain along this journey will one day pay off with a two header living a long full-filing life
Good morning Brian I'm so sorry for your loss of Cookies and Cream. Life is about taking chances my friend. You took a chance on that sweet little girl. Never ever give up on anything you love or love to do. Brian you have a heart of gold. Don't ever change. God Bless
U did the best u could brian! No one can fault u for that! U gave them a great home with lots of love from u and the rest of the crew! She was well loved!
Hey, Brian. So sorry about Cookies n’ Cream. I know things like this can be difficult, but don’t let this impact your passion for these awesome, misunderstood animals. We’re all here for you, my dude! ❤️
awww so sorry I loved seeing updates about cookies and cream. I never really liked reptiles before but after watching your videos I have grown to really love them. I was thinking you could do a little segment on your chameleon I absolutely love karma. Love your vlogs!!!
So sorry to hear about cookies ‘n cream. I am happy to hear you will be getting an established adult two headed snake. It looks BEAUTIFUL and so healthy!!
Love how people are travelling great distances just to see you and the Reptarium Brian. Love how you interact with them. I’m in New Zealand, and the Reptarium and meeting you (and the crew) are on my bucket list. So sorry to hear cookies and cream didn’t make it. As the saying goes - It is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all ❤️ I don’t want to be morbid, but could you preserve cookies and cream in formalin and display them in a jar? For education purposes. The same way museums display various things?
So true! I love Brian's flavor of insanity! It's very inspiring! My 12yo won't leave me alone about wanting a two headed reptile now! Lol. He's seen the losses, but isn't giving up on his mission. That's pretty big for him, as he's quite emotionally sensitive to loss. But he says, if Brian can do it, he wants to try, too! 😊
Sam Houts wishing for things that are hard that sometimes have difficulties is what most people choose. If everyone played it safe where would the world be.
So sorry Bryan! At the very least you know that you gave Cookies and Cream the best life they could have had. All you can do is keep showing the love you have for your critters. You did your best!
That's super sad :c But i hope this cherry you up, today i got my first reptile, it's a yellow foot tortoise i rescued from an illegal seller. Now she is happy and has a very big garden to live!
I’m so sorry for your loss! RIP Cookies n Cream! Your right though it is insanity to do things over and over expecting a different result.....but that’s why we love our animals..."....you couldn’t have done more.....❤️❤️❤️
OMG! No! 😰 Bless that baby poppet! You did your best though, conjoined anything brings a whole world of issues and problems. So sad. R.I.P. Cookies’n’Creme. Sending much loves your way guys! 💙💙💙
My condolences, brian to you and your wife and team. Thank you for sharing Cookie's n Cream's life and being truthful even when it is hard to bear. *HUGS*
I’m sorry to hear about Cookies & Cream. I know you and your crew tried everything to help her and I believe no one could’ve done better. I’m glad you are getting an older snake now. I hope he settles in well and has a wonderful long life with you. You always do what’s best for your animals and unfortunately sometimes they don’t live as long as we want them too. They were well loved while you had them.
The way I see it is despite how most two headed snake life ends in early death, to be with a dedicated snake handler like you give them a better chance of survival with how hard you work to get them going and also you give them a better life in the short time they did survive than being abandon, put down, or left with someone unprepared. You put your heart and soul into your animals Bryan and even with the ocassional tragedy, you really try your best and treat each and every animal as a normal pet family memeber
Brian I'm so sorry about Cookies and Cream 😢 they were amazing ❤🐍 I don't understand why this happens to you, you're the best animal keeper ever 😢💗 Have an amazing day Brian, despite the death of Cookies and Cream 💗 i wish I could give you big hugs everyday lol
Don't think of it as "happening to Brian". Think of it this way instead... Their chances of living out a full life was slim. They just happened to be lucky enough to have Brain happen to them! They were very loved, taken care of and watched over in his and the crew's care. Sick or no, they knew love. And THAT is what counts!
It's just the crappy part of these anomalies. They are very interesting creatures but typically have congenital defects that keep them from living long.
It makes me so happy to see how passionate you are about your animals. Thank you for showing us Cookies N Cream. Keep trying with the 2 headed creatures. You didnt do anything wrong. You knew there was a small chance for survival and you gave it, it's best chance. Keep up the good work Brian. Can't wait to see the new 2 headed snake.
I am so sorry about Cookies n Creme, but I am so excited for your new two headed snake! You are so amazing with your pets Brian! With you through the best and the worst of times! RIP Cookies n Creme
what a shame , but like you said it was always on the cards from the beginning. but im really happy about the new arrival and the best part that its 3 years old , thats gona be so much better brian . and its a beauty , really stunning snake.x
Sorry to hear about Cookies and Cream. Some things you just can't control. I know you did the best you could for her. I wish you luck and longevity with the new snake you're getting can't wait to see it. Love to you all there.
Dude you’re not insane, you’re optimistic, and I would have done exactly the same thing. Every animal deserves a chance to survive and thrive, and that’s exactly what you do. ❤️
You did everything you could, Brian. Don't let this keep you from trying again! You really are an inspiration. I really have learned so much about reptiles thanks to you.
I feel his pain I had a pet corn snake and it was born blind and it died last year made a little grave out my back yard and I look at it everyday and say he was so special :(
I am really sorry for your lost about the snakes, but hey chill my parents told me that if you love your pet animal that had already died, its okay because your pet animal will love you too and they will always be by your sides and they will also going to protect you even though we can`t see them anymore, so be happy and I am sure your pet snake is safe and had a good life in heaven and they would always see you guys from up there!!!!!
I wish cookies and creammade it they were the only two headed snake i had even heard of hope this two headed snake lives for ages 😀😀😏 RIP COOKIES AND CREAM ONE AMAZING SNAKE
You did do your best for Cookies and Cream! Happy tears when I learned you were getting an established 2 headed snake. It is a beautiful snake. Love the boy from NY....darling! Keep up the good work. I will always be a supporter and one day hope to make it to The Reptarium.
I'm sorry Brian, I think all of us knew this was going to happen though, but I think it's just the mutation I mean think about it if you had 2 heads it would hard to live. But Brian always remember we are here for you and think about your success on BHB and the reptariam. Oh should make another video of the leopard geckos and make sure Roswell is in the video we all miss him we want to see the little guy
Ryan.T /RECKO REPTILES most people don’t understand i said the same thing when rick n morty died and people argued I didn’t understand two headed genetics..
I know it's just a risk he's willing to take but to be honest I personally don't think it's ok to purposely breed or mutate an animal to get 2 heads, yeah it looks cool but it's not what it really looks like it's an animal that has a lower chance of living due to the fact that they carry so many illnesses. It's sad.
Bri guy ... there's nothing more you or anyone else could have done. You and your team put your all into Cookies and Cream. We know that. You shared them with us. People were excited to see them and from there started to notice more reptiles. No regrets dude. All the best is what that cutie had and you all did your best to give them what they needed. I'm looking forward to you getting the other snake too. Take care, try to have fun even with that sadness, and remember we all luvs ya as well.
R.i.p Cookies & Cream,All the best Brian for the future 2 headed snake plans for the Reptarium, you are a true Hero to the Reptile World an changing people's beliefs
Not letting any one or animal down. Your giving them a beautiful life. Your an amazing person and so is your family. I can't wait to go up to the reptarium. So excited my four year old loves Lucy, Casper, and many more. She watches your vlogs with me, she hears your voice she comes running in to jump on my lap and watch. We love your animals and vlogs. Please keeping doing amazing work.
So sorry for your loss Bri. Cookies and cream will be missed but as you said many times, it’s so very hard for these deformed animals to make it to adulthood. I’m happy you have finally found a two-headed animal for the reptarium, though! Congrats! I can’t wait to finally visit.
Hey Brian... We all know that you did the very best you can for all of the animals and you haven't let anyone down... Don't be hard on yourself... Have a great day
Brian, you keep them alive longer then they would in the wild or with someone else. So, I know the snakes love you for that.👍❤️ R.I.P. Cookies n Cream🙏
