I joined both of the giveaways at I have a question. Is there a way to get more entries then the ways perfited to us? I really want to get a higher entry so that I can finally get my very one VR headset. I don't even have one headset and the idea of VR is so freaking cool! So could you please responded back to my comment to answer this? Thanks :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
@@DisguiseVR the ways on the link are the most possible ways to enter. Although the winners have been so happy I plan to keep on doing giveaways for as long as I can 😊
aubika does good work. I like that case. I just never use one mine always hangs from my ceiling and is hooked up. I never get get sick in vr or with motion doing anything. I was always crazy with fair rides LOL never thrown up. finally facial interfaces are coming. I am looking forward to VRCovers. I love my old one for the quest 2.
Haha, just snuck that in there last week! It was supposed to be for 50K but we blew past it so quick it's almost 60k Time :O I can't keep up these days! Thanks to you@@TemmieVR
Hi Solo! They are made for the BoboVR m2 & M3 style straps and there's TONS of styles you can see in the shop and a full video below: SHOP: mrtass3dprintshop.etsy.com/ OUR VIDEO: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NpYcVdp1AHQ.html (also the Beat Saber Blocks are really cool)
I tried the Prisimxr Air Bridge, and while it does a great job with airlink, it does not do a good job with virtual desktop or steam link. But for me the biggest issue is slow internet speeds. Since its sharing it wirelessly with your PC, the speeds were less than a megabit, and mostly 500Kbps. I returned it and put the money towards a TP-Link AXE5400. I only allow the Q3, my phone and PC on that router which I connect to the main router. Double NAT is not a problem for me, so this works very well.
I'm still waiting on Binbok, I think I need to just bite the bullet and spend $100 on it myself. They said before launch they were gonna send it but it never showed :(
me too ,they said improved the battery for q3 version ,really want to find out the bizzing issue and strap roar issue ,waiting for your review ,you better push them a bit@@jaybratt
I've used both the Anker P10's and the PrismXR Vega T10's, and the Ankers are so much better. Better everything soundwise. One thing to mention though, is that earbud fitment and sound is highly dependent on the earbud TIPS. Smaller holes mean less bass and more treble can get through, and proper fitment means less reflected bass can bleed through your ear canals.
i know it seems not to be your jam, but do you plan to do review/test of full pcvr cable/hub setup to keep playing WHILE charging ? i'm in the (apparently) low portion of peoples than cant and wont play full on battery/wifi because of what my gaming is (VR sim on DCS and Lans party without internet and that's my only use) and solution are very hard to find and hold me from going forward with the Q3. i come from RIft S and the only other viable solution is a G2 which is getting old and discontinued... any help would be appreciated !
With the PSVR1 I got hit with motion sickness some times. The only time I've had it on Quest 3 is with the motorway level on Bonelab, but even then I wouldn't want that thing on my neck. Love seeing all of the accesories coming out and appreciate you testing them and letting us know the pros and cons of them! That battery belt seems like a cool idea, but proabbly uncomfortable and I'd be worried about it unclipping and pulling the headset while playing.
Thank you!! It's definitely clearer and nicer than the last round! I just gotta finish regrowing the beard I shaved off for Halloween so it matches better LOL
Chest or waist band battery is a great idea. But not with only 6 hours when there are now head strap options that give that much. I just want one that has swappable batteries. And so far, I haven't found one
Have you stopped slamming your quest 3 into the Charging Dock? It’s supposed to go in cameras first until they touch the dock then set backwards with the speaker arms downward
No, I'm slamming it more now that the facial interfaces I'm testing keep not fitting in it... I might cut the nose part of the dock off to make it work with any facial interface 🤔
That motion sickness product sounds like bs. It would be nice if it were possible to disrupt the feeling but I'm pretty sure most of the cause of discomfort/nausea is how adapted the brain is to the novel stimuli. When I got glasses with astigmatism correction for the first time I felt sick for a week and not only did it improve but straight lines that looked bent due to the lens correction gradually started to look straight again ie there's probably a lot more going on with VR than just a vestibular mismatch or whatever. I read an article in the NYTimes today that also mentioned astronauts having a similar feeling in zero gravity until they got over it.
Regarding Motion Sickness, I'm an Aussie and you can get Phenergan tablets, in the 10mg and 25mg size over the counter. It works to fix all types of nausea, motion sickness, opiate sickness, etc. Personally I get intense motion sickness on airplanes or in the passenger seat of vehicle. Phenergan COMPLETELY fixes it, just take your dose 20 minutes beforehand. The only downside is that it will make you SUPER drowsy, I'm talking prescription sleeping pill level drowsy, if you take more than 40mg and it lasts a long time so you'll SLEEP a long time once you're out. If you're just playing on VR I'd say only take 1 10mg tablet, and if that's to strong cut it in half and just have 5mg.
Phenergan (Promethazine is the generic name) is a prescription medication in the US. I've heard of a bracelet that you can wear on your wrist that has a little ball that puts pressure on a point that alleviates motion sickness. Used a lot for sea sickness.
When you use your quest 3 plugged directly into power does it still die on you? if it does have you found any power bricks that made the difference in keeping it charged up during play?
Any chance of just cutting away the nose portion ot the interface and maintain enough structure to remain pressed to your face? Thinking I may just dremel away any plastic that touches my nose...
I got that face interface and the stock pad on it does suck but what I did (and planned on doing when ordered) was put my favorite pad from my quest 2 on it. After doing that It feels great, no more pressure points or cheek pain. And you are right I feel like im right in there next to the lens as well.

Regarding grip accessories. There is a IR spot that needs to be open. You can see this in the AMVR grips (love em) they have a cut out so Q3 can track the grips as intended.
I have small hands and amvr grips suck because how i like holding the controller. I got this gunstock with controller grips and theyre so much better honestly wish someone made grips like this 3daptive dude make his but maybe higher quality
A battery head strap is the place to start!! I'm using the BoboVR M3 Pro for now but sadly the batteries don't keep up as well as they did on Quest 2... for the comfort though I'm still loving it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sI1wDaoNOE4.html
The Meta knuckle straps are decent and anchor to the bottom of the controller using the wrist strap hole... I added Wii wrist straps looped around the metal buckle and it works great!
I agree,. I have them as well and I like them. With the Quest 2 I still combined knuckle straps (from Kiwi Design) with the standard wrist straps but now I don't use them anymore and don't miss them.
It’s still early on so I’m in no hurry to buy accessories. I really just want VR Cover to come out with a facial interface (supposedly Dec). Thanks Jay!
Another great video! The BoboVR case is great for their halo strap but I'm glad you are testing different and cheaper options. Cute cat btw, what's their name? Keep up the great work!
I wonder if that facial interface was designed around fitting Asian facial features. I remember a long time ago Linus was looking at a headset imported from China, and it was uncomfortable on his nose, but fine for Yvonne.
Looks ok and while you can use network sharing to get internet from your home router, it will only do 2.4Ghz, not 5Ghz (which is reserved for streaming only). So, if you need fast internet access you're probably best to just get an external wifi6 router to begin with, that will cost the same or maybe a little less. Still looks like a good idea, just not fully developed yet imho.
Great Vid Jay! Love all the details you go into, it really gives a great feedback on what's worth it more or less. any chance you've checked the Anker Soundcore P10 VR headphones with the charging capabilities of the Quest 3? I hear it's unstable compared to the PrismXR headphones (also you mixed your links, PrismXR leads to the Soundcore, while the Soundcore leads to P2 (different version to the P10?) Thank you very much for the review and keep bringing more of those! AMVR have a new facial mask available (it has 3 space levels, check'em out) Lastly, Waiting to see something to match up with the Meta Charging dock. Cheers!
They do have a facial interface cover we went over in our last accessories breakdown: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ijQGwVMjJnI.htmlsi=_Rq2p_af4sI0IsST
I can't wait for them to release some new facial interfaces as well. The padding on the stock interface does feel a bit better with a silicone cover, but it still feels a little dense and hurts my face after a while. Also don't care for the feel of silicone after 20 or 30 min. Feels like my skin is suffocating. My quest 2 had a nice softly padded vr cover interface that was like resting my face in a pillow. In the meantime, I did order one of the vr cover...covers lol, but have been waiting for over a week for it to ship. Thanks for the new vid jay. I'll keep checking them.
Dude I'm can't wait for the draw of the free oculus quest 3 man I broke both of my oculus controllers and my lenses on the quest are horrible It's so blurry
Would you be able to do a little DIY: double layer velcro, opaque black fabric, a scissors, create a veil that prevents light bleeding in a no-facial setup using bobovr m3 pro.
Great vid, and same- I've been waiting for a lightweight low-profile facial interface for greater FOV and comfort. It's alright though, I'm sure one of the dozens of companies will get it right.
A detail you left out about the PrismXR Headphones is that the dongle supports 27w passthrough charging. This is pretty much essential for the Quest 3. The Soundcore p10's I believe only support 10w. Great vid! I appreciate someone that takes time to make these type of videos.
actually P10 tested it support 18W 9V2A passthrogh and VR PANDA tested 18w is more then enough for Q3, if too high charging W may burn the usbc doc, could check their X to see
I really like your content, to the point .. honest and do not say anything before enough testing... thanks.. I was thinking to buy bobovr for my quest 3 but with battery issues I cancelled... so which is the best strap with battery in the market now ?
Well, you got the ZyberVR solution of having the charger hang around your neck, or the charging belt Jay reviewed in this video. Other than that we're pretty much waiting for more reviews and new products to come out, as far as I am aware. Unless you do a DIY solution yourself, that is.
@@abboodeno No problem. Actually a little bit after your comment I saw someone comment about a Panda VR strap. When searching Panda VR you can find a store with lots of great stuff (supposedly) with even a swappable batteries solution (just like Bobo) but sadly there doesn't seem to be any reviews for it just yet.

@@jaybratt i don’t even have a vr headset but i’m asking for a quest 3 for christmas! i will try to get these too. thanks! i have also been watching your videos to educate myself on the quest 3, with accessories and headstraps.
For now I hate to say it but WAIT... I haven't loved any of the ones I've tried yet but new ones are just coming out. For now I'm using the stock one with a silicone cover: amzn.to/3su0yWh
We need some knuckle solutions for larger hands, akin to the large KIWI ones for Q2. I am using Frankenquest 3 build with Quest Pro style interface. I printed the interface and adapters myself, quality would be beter if they were injection molded. ALSO, 18W battery is heavy but a billion times better with Q3 than the bobovr ones (RIP, I own 5 of them)
