I have made a blunder, now the Mikotoba fans are looking for my location. (Jokes aside, Mikotoba IS a good character. It's just that he doesn't have enough screentime to fully show it without Sholmes being around.)
@@HatEnthusiast (spoilers for Resolve, but I think anyone here finished the game already) Well, yeah, but in my opinion there's the other merit in Mikotoba being actually tragic character in the duology. He went through many things in his life, twice even. Lost his wife and vrieved about that to the point that he decided to come to London with his friends -> tried to help the other woman in labor and lost her in the same manner. Not to mention that each time he came to London he lost a friend (first time in was Genshin, and in the present - Jigoku). But sure, the tragic backstory isn't a good character maker, but I still am ready to shotout to Yujin for actually being a nice decent man, striving to strenghten his relationship with his daughter. Though I agree his tandem with Sholmes is where he shines the most (sorry for explaining my point in such messy manner, but here it is)
@@weirdberry2886 Very true. Even though we don't get to see much of him in the game besides in the tutorial cases and near the end of the second one, Mikotoba is still pretty amazing. I will say though he still deserved more screentime in the game. Like putting a few Watson-related references would be nice, (Almost like with Sholmes being a literal walking-talking Sherlock Holmes reference. Although I wouldn't want Mikotoba's entire character be JUST a reference.) And overall more interactions too.
I seem to have missed that bit (or forgotten about it). But yeah, just found out they're called Herlockians apparently! Which is by the way, such a great sounding name tho. Really just clicks lol.
lol pretty sure Sholmes doesnt actually rely on Iris for the household income. Sholmes was even shown to have to do strange things on a couple of ocassions to get the money to pay for the rent and "feed iris's voracious appetite"( not an exact quote of course but similar). I'm pretty sure he gave her pocket money on ocassion as well. Thats if you were reffering to him
Yea I did imply Sholmes when I made that one lol (As well as a certain pianist). But I just assumed that the majority of their income comes from Iris' published stories/novels, and the other half came from.. Well, Sholmes being Sholmes.
@@nuetralkitty58I mean, who's gonna think to call him _Yumihiko Ichiyanagi_ on this side of the Pacific? ... Surprised that _I_ remembered it without having to Google. 👀
