What is the difference between another, other and others?
In this English lesson we learn the difference between these words.
First we look at the meaning of ANOTHER with example sentences. This includes:
- Another + singular nouns
- Another as a pronoun
- Another + number + plural nouns
Next we look at the meaning of OTHER with example sentences. This includes:
- Other + plural nouns
Finally we look at the meaning of OTHERS with example sentences. This includes:
- Others as a pronoun or noun
- Others and The others (referring to people)
We then give a quick summary of the difference between another, other and others with similar sentences highlighting this difference.
