Another watermelon-flavored summer For people living in the village, food is the most important thing. If you don’t eat the seasonal vegetables grown at home, then this summer cannot be considered a complete past.
August has arrived. These past two days, the watermelons from my neighbor’s grandmother’s house have been in constant supply. They are of different sizes and shapes, but they are all crisp and juicy. When the blade touches the melon skin, it cracks with a “bang”. One bite reminds me of the summer in my memory.
