I think I'm the only person who did not like Hocus Pocus. Bette Midler playing a child eating witch was a hard selling point for me. The big musical number is the high water mark for sure and the only reason they made the sequile in my opinion. I just don't think it was a strong enough moment to build a whole movie on. So for me, that made the second one weak although I do think it was better written. That little girl who played a young Winnifred stole the show. Too bad she was only in the first 10 minutes. LOL xox
I also think it depends on age and what way you view movies. I can always for movies like these turn off my adult view and watch like i did when i was a kid.
