We were a bit punchy at 6am after finding out we lost another window. The thought of calling Wilderness Motorhomes bit.ly/KYD-Wilderness to tell them what happened sent us into hysterical laughter. But they were cool about it and Tricia’s plastic window skills were on point yet again. After the window debacle, we made our way from Queenstown, NZ to Mt. Cook and Lake Pukaki (and we really should have made the time to visit Mt. Cook - big mistake). Rather, we wanted to get to Kaikoura quickly to swim with the dolphins to leave some time to cross the ferry and get back to Auckland in the next few days. If we were to do this trip again, we’d pick up the motorhome in Auckland and return it in Christchurch. Even though we had round trip flights out of Auckland, we didn’t realize that the ferry costs the same as flights.
The real highlight in this video was swimming with the dolphins. If you’re only going to do one or two expensive activities during your New Zealand holiday, this should be strongly considered. www.dolphinencounter.co.nz/
