Yep, I remember the Clayton Boat Museum video well. I also enjoyed the Roundhouse video in Scranton, PA. Might be a way to pick up more viewers with specific interest in the motorized world? If this weather breaks, I can get finished with my little project trailer........

Yeah, on my list of video projects, I want to go to more antique boat museums and railroad museums. Very high on my interest level. There’s a good boat museum up in Michigan. I’ll be visiting.

Excited to see your Michigan adventures, we will look for you!! You are one of the main reasons we have an A-frame. The Michigan Aframers have gatherings in May, June, and September. We found you because of the A-frame and Adirondacks.

Hi Rick - love your channel. I've been watching now for the last year, or so, and I'm pretty sure I've seen all your NY videos - which was what brought me to your channel. My parents (late) were both raised there... Mom was from Herkimer, and spent the depression in Syracuse, and Dad was born, and raised in Mechanicville. They both met at the beginning of WW2 in Miami Beach,, and later raised a family (Miami). Your appreciation for the ADKs is something I share - even from far away.

Very cool, thanks. I lived in Mechanicsville during my time with fish and wildlife in New York. It was a nice little village. I have a lifetime hunting license in New York so, will be doing more New York videos eventually. Or maybe even this summer.

Glad you are getting out on the road and checking out some new areas and campgrounds. I switched from a toy hauler to a bunkhouse because of the grandkids. They do love camping and we generally take them once a month. Take care.

9 years!? Holy crap. I been watching since before I retired 10 years ago and you're still one of my favorite YT-ers. Congrats on the new addition. I'll be sad to see the ole' Aliner go. I started watching your channel 2020 right after we bought our Aliner and couldn’t go anywhere due to all the campgrounds being closed😢. We purchased a 2021 family family aliner with two hard dormers in june of 2023 due to my good old health situations right now never had a chance to take it out camping.So i watch your videos and i guess you are towing two campers behind you .yours and mine .Do to your videos i get to enjoy the different campsites you are at and see the different things you see.My subscribe to your you tube is just a drop of water but its still a drop thanks again keep up the videos as long as you can love them

Rick-Thanks for the update and view into your future plans. I really enjoy traveling with you. Please continue to video all your ALiner work and always include Akela. You mentioned attractions to visit, so I encourage you to include The Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY. It is halfway between Cincinnati and Lexington and right off I-75. No matter your religious belief or no belief, it is an excellent attraction for all ages to visit. One thing for sure is that you won't see another boat like this one anywhere else! Be sure to check out their schedule of events in advance when planning your trip. I'll be there in my ALiner a second time, sometime between May and June, so I hope to see you there!

Having caught the camping bug 2 1/2 years ago I came across your channel when looking into something to buy. Your video of don’t buy an Aliner was hilarious and have been subscribed since then. Also you will appreciate since you have spent time in central New York it is snowing now in the third week of Spring! BTW I ended up buying a Camp Inn 550 teardrop so maybe see you out on the road someday. 😊

My congratulations to you. Camp Inn makes a great teardrop. I am outfitting a replica of one of the original 1946 teardrop campers. It was built by an Airstream repair shop.

Been a viewer for since when we got back into camping 3 years ago and really like your vids. Its some of the best reviews of campgrounds, where many skip the bathrooms you never skimp on that. Really appreciate the honest assessments of them, and love that many are within reach to me being a fellow NCer (outside of High Point). Keep up the great work, keep promoting your channel, and keep on travelling!

Well, I’m doing the great Smoky Mountain national Park right now. And I wish the weather was better so I could actually explore some of the great trout waters in this little section of hills. There sure are a lot of fisherman waiting through the streams in this cold wind.

August is a great time to go to Michigan, especially the UP. We generally hangout there most of August. Our favorite campgrounds are Ontonagon City CG, Gladstone City CG, Bay Furnace and Bayview NFSCG. Head west along the shore of Lake Michigan for a few miles after going over Big Mac and stop at the Hiawatha NFS office for information. Don’t miss an afternoon boat tour of the Pictured Rocks, view the freighters from the park next to Clyde’s drive in Sault Ste Marie and the antique wood boat show in early August in Hessel. Thanks for doing what you do. Always enjoy your videos.

@@GoingNoWhereFast Ontonagon is a fcfs CG. Show up Sunday or Monday and you will get a site. Then be at the office at 8:30 and you may get a better (waterfront) site.

Congratulations on 10 years! Did you mention people watching for Akela, too? Lot of dog lovers in the camping world. None of my business but grandchildren are completely different than raising your children. You just get to enjoy them! All the other stuff is taken care of by their parents. Don’t miss out. You might not believe this but they will bring a new and wonderful type of joy to your life. And you decide when and how much time to spend with them. You were just kidding anyway?

Where do you live with this Working Line German Shepherd? Do You Train it in decent GSD Work? Let me know if you need anything. I think Akela is done with his training, though he is so ball motivated, he loves to train.

Thank you. Yes, in fact that was how I found your channel when you first started. You had your boys, Caesar and Dakota. I also had 2 GSDs. Ben and Josephine. Their training was Schutzhund obedience through Lindesfarne Kennels in Seville, Ohio. Benny, Josephine and I hava section hiked the AT from Pennsylvania to Shenandoah and we've done almost every trail in the Allegheny National Forest. I lost Josa in 2019. Benny went back to heaven on February 21, 2024. Last year we spent 2 nights at the Ranger Outpost cabin at Camp Creek. I went in March by myself in honor of my boy Benny. I took him with me in my heart❤

I was noticing that your Wolf Pup had 2 propane tanks. Mine only came with one. Did yours come with two from the factory or was it modified to have two tanks? Also I watch all videos on my IPhone…just more convenient

Nope, I had to add the second one. There’s a mounting kit on Amazon for two propane tanks. And then you just bolt it to the frame.

There is absolutely no reason to count past 50. I started counting backwards when I hit 50. I am now 35. Pretty soon I’ll be younger than my son.

A liner gone. Good. Try asking for viewers to subscribe during the video. That may help. I recently found out that if I give you a like, it helps you, if I give you a like and a comment which can just be a smiley face that helps you a lot more. There are a lot of little things that help the channel but what I just recently found out is that the more ads you have the more they promote your channel. And I’m currently against flooding you with ads. But we might see for a short time a few more ads.

The reason I started watching was you used to go to places of interest and not what campground number is the best. I have just about dropped you several times during your "drive-by review" of such and such bathroom in a campground. That's not going anywhere. Since you are going to dump your A Liner I guess it's time for me to say: sayonara and good luck. I have an A frame and live out West.
