Anoushka Shankar plays 'Pancham Se Gara' 

Sometime I think sitar is one of musical instrument that was smuggled out of heaven.

I am in Love with both Anouska and the Sitar , I have been Listening to her Father since 1967 . I was in Vietnam . It is in my Soul and Heart .

I feel like she and the drummer are communicating in a language beyond speech. Utterly ravishing. Indian music is a gift to the world.

When I think of India, I think in terms of music, art, literature, culture and stuffs like that. Truly beautiful.

This song just made me very emotional. It takes me back to the time when I've been in India. And it reminds me that even in times of Covid there is still happiness and enjoyment of life out there. Thanks to the great artists, it is amazing to watch how people can get completely absorbed by music.

She is the reason why people should have children. Her father was a master and inspiring and she does him and the female musicians of the world justice. So inspiring to continue such a legacy and be the amazing woman that she is.

The sounds really reminds me of my ancestors from India (I am Filipino but I have Indian heritage from my father’s side of the family)

The Tambura never gets any attention. It's truly the hidden gem in any Indian Music Concert. Always been my favorite part of the songs.

I saw her with her father once at The Kennedy Center. It was stunningly beautiful music that brought tears to one’s eyes. As for this- mind blown. Incredible.

Lots of her father's influence here; sounds a lot like Bangla Dhun, but in a very good sense. You just can't beat a good sitar tune. Felt like I was back in college with acid on board. Excellent!

This music is like listening to a language I don’t understand but transports with an emotional language. The musicians speak to and argue with each other. Altogether a wonderful experience provided by very talented artists.

The human brain is so amazing to remember and co-ordinate all those notes for such a majestic composure . Music I will take into the next life

this is the rendition of the same pancham se gara that was played by her late father in the Monterey pop festival in 1967.

Listening to this gives proof that music in it's most pure form is truly a spiritual experience. Thank you for sharing that experience.
