I'm concerned about the design approach for the solar panel, the rubber seal needs to be opened in order for the solar panel to be connected so it means the SD card will be exposed once its installed with solar power connected. I'm hoping they revise the design for the solar inputs.
Yes, i know what you mean, i was the same, concerned about this but apparently since I installed the camera everything goes well, no problems(mine in mounted under a roof.
That is stupid I was looking for a camera that can hold up to uk weather having to leave the micro usb panel open all the time is stupid and a not having a little hole for usb is big design fault and turn off I suppose u could cut a little hole yourself because u can't leave it open all the time
I need to make sure that I can use live recording. I had an Anran whole security kit picked out. All battery powered with solar panels for power but when I sent a question to the seller asking if it would do live recording as long as my solar panel was hooked up to the camera, I was told that I can only get motion activated video for like 10-30 minutes max each time it is triggered and I want/need live feed if I want to activate it and I have to use a battery powered camera with a solar panel because the camera is 50-100 feet from the house and I would rather buy a wifi signal extender than I would have to bury all that damn cable. Can you advise what I should get so I can toggle my cameras to live view when I want to watch for an hour or two maybe ??? Then put back on motion activated or for the camera that I mount on my house will be wired to an outlet for power so I might even want to keep it on live viewing. I just don't want to pay $200 or more for the system and then find out I can't view live video. It is so hard to get your money back on returns these days.
😊 I bought a new ANRAN system on eBay. It never worked. They ran out the clock on playing at fixing the issue so my eBay refund window expired. I've asked multiple times for a refund from them within their money back window. Nothing but crickets from both eBay and ANRAN. I'd think before buying any of their products. It doesn't work as marketed and customer/tech support sucks.
The picture quality is really good considering, I use it for my back garden, it works better in a sunny bright day, in your case it was a bit cloudy so the quality of the image will degrade slightly, people need to realise these are not cameras for making movies, or professional stuff, these are for surveillance, and if you want really good cameras you will need to pay at least 3 or 4 times the price.
it happened to me also, try to scan the qr code which appears in the app for several times and move the camera in different positions until you get it right. Hope this helps. Cheers
