I met a girl recently, she was a drug addict, I saw in her what I saw in the past me. Lost. I stuck around, helped her and she got sober for 3 months. I fell in love with this girl. Was willing to do anything for her. She recently left me for her ex who just got out of jail. Never was so devastated and heartbroken. I wonder what did I do to deserve this? I still love her to this day yet am so hurt. I wish i had answers to my questions. Wasnt my first love nor will it be my last, but she will always be on my mind.

This song reminds me of my best friend. We knew each other for 8 years, since 1st grade. We did everything together. We were practically inseparable. But how the time flowed by, we started to change and we started fighting and then just stoped being friends. Suddenly I had no one. It was so hard for me. She didn't even looked like she was going through the same like me because she had other friends - my other friends who just turned their backs on me. I was all alone. I swear to God if I found this song like 10 months ago I would probably cry so much that I would drawn in my own tears. It's unbelievable how music can touch our hearts. When I listen to this, old memories that I don't even know I have start to come back. Now it's been over a year and I can finally say that i'm in peace with what happened and most importantly with myself. Thank you Anson for making music so beautiful and touching. ❤
