Fame and wealth can have an adverse effect on so many big named 'stars' and it's sad to see. I think you are a breath of fresh air in MMA Tom, and I thank you for being the person & competitor that you are. One of the many things i much prefer in the UFC over pro boxing is that losses dont mean anywhere near as much, and this allows great fighters to become great or continue to be so. Im nearly 50 now, and I've had a lot of life experiences in those 49 years. I've had a lot of loss in my life, and I have a lot of medical problems I've had to overcome and live with, but with all that being said, when i was younger, i did Muay Thai for a few years, I was a motor racing sidecar passenger for a few years, I've competed at ten pin bowling at a high level for some years and I spent a lot of my life at the Isle of Man TT watching and being a part of the racing and i have got to know many syccessfull sports people and the ones that ALWAYS stay in your mind are those that are genuine, decent folk who just want to be good at what they do and appreciate those that they spend their money supporting them. The others that want to be the center of attention all the time or are simply unlikeable people dont mean anything to me. Who you are as a person means more than what you achieve. I have been very lucky in recent times to get to know and become friends with a really nice, good young lad called Carl Harris. He is only 17 yrs old and is about to start only his 2nd season racing motorbikes in the British Superbikes (BSB). His dad was of the same name and was very successfull and well known. Unfortunatwly he was killed at the TT in 2014 and instead of being knocked back by that, this really decent young man has turned his loss into a drive so strong that he has become a very serious aghlete and competitor. Like Tom, I believe he will go on to greatness at his chosen path in life and will remain a decent human being.

I really wish you would have asked him. How did he feel after he got punched from Pavlovich. He took a heavy shot. It definitely rocked him. You could see it in the fight but I’m just curious at that moment. Did he feel anything?
I don't see the title leaving his hands for a long time, especially if Jones won't fight him. Tom speaks about things with a natural confidence and in such a matter of fact way that I think is a hallmark of all the true greats. It's obvious the physical talents he has and the work he's put in but the more of his videos I watch the more I realise he has a special mindset. It's like those Seal or SAS guys being interviewed you see and think "That's the guy you'd want watching your back when shit hits the fan"

Tom my fave fighter but I think Gane would be the hardest option. Don’t let his Jones performance let you forget how insane that guy is. Moves like a middleweight and built like a monster. The only bad thing about that fight is it won’t go past round 1 😂

The only fight to take is jon jones, but if he wont take it then that says something right there. I haven't seen a lot of your fights and don't know much about you, but what I've seen from clips and other you tube channels you are a very good fighter and a level headed and well balanced individual. You kind of resemble a mix of a young frank mir and shane carwin. Jon Jones is really the only one to fight. To be the man you have beat the man. I have no doubt that you will win the ufc HW championship, but will the jon jones fight happen thats up to politics. Just look at the GSP/anderson silva super fight that never happened.
Tom went to Paris. He spent time away from his family. He set up the Gane fight only to be mugged off. Tom then goes on to get off the sofa to send Pavlovich into the shadow realm. All of a sudden Mr Pussy Gane pipes up. Tom says ‘No thanks’ and moves on. Obviously the Jones/Stipe winner is the fight but I honestly believe that’s a retirement fight for both fighters. I have no problem seeing Tom run it back with Curtis. Storyline is there and I’m sure it’s an itch that Tom wants to scratch. It makes sense. Most thought Almeida would be next but Curtis silenced that boring guy. On a side note, Jones don’t want a piece of Tom . Did u notice how he refused the face off. Tom knows what he’s doing. He’s a lovely lad but when it comes to the fight came he is switched on.
I think Tom Aspinall is the man Jon "BONE" Jones fears the most. Whatever the outcome, Jon Jones will still be the GOAT, cleaned up light heavyweight division and now reigning heavyweight champion.
UFC is literally letting the heavyweight division die. You need to fight Stipe or jon. That torch needs to be passed. Since Francis vacated the division has been on a weird decline
Jon jones may aswell just hand that belt over because there is no way he can defend it against Tom, Jones was good because he was cheating, its surprising how much stronger a fighter can be when taking a substance but his reign ended when he was caught out, Tom is the new heavyweight star in UFC
As far as fight to see i would prefer to see you vs gane... unfortunately he hasn't done anything besides being manhandled by jones. He has been ducking fights and appears very entitled and cowardly atm. Having said that i would love to see that fight

We are so blessed to have Tom and Leon representing England as champs you could not find two nicer or more professional athletes in the sport only one I can think of is GSP but he's retired so doesn't really count
