@SirCreepsAlott its very similar to bo3 and doesnt feel like an IW cod. And its actually a pretty good game once you get past the space setting which isnt really a bad thing.
BSJ IN YO HOUSE I just pre ordered the deluxe edition I’m hoping it doesn’t get ruined like BO3 with supply drops!! Can’t wait for the game anyway I’m sick of WW2
Heres an idea for the dpad menu: Left dpad = cycle healing items Right dpad = cycle lethal up dpad = cycle perk (hold to equip) down dpad = cycle attachment (hold to equip) idk i think this could help speed up the game
James James yea he mentions that they might put in the transit busses and do exactly that! It would be so cool. To make it even better, if you take the bus, zombies spawn in chasing the bus. Then follow you wherever you go.
The problem is the "picking shit up" functionality in general is not all that great in its current form. So the reason people want auto ammo pickup is because too often they swapped weapons while trying to grab ammo. You could watch even some of the best BR players in the world do exactly that numerous times during the beta streams. If it weren't for the accidental weapon swapping, people wouldn't even be thinking about ammo pickup. In PUBG there are 3 ways to pick up items...Blackout took the worst way and made it their core mechanic.
i havnt bought a single call of duty since the first black ops, but i preordered this. Massive promise behind this one especially if they keep this game alive which using battlenet is an amazing start.
Black ops 4 has potential as long as they keep this attitude, listen to fans I played the beta i liked it just the way it is and if they get this game in perfect shape at global launch Im sure it will make it to the top Bo4+battle royal = the best BR expirince for me. It just mixes well Battle royal the black ops way
They can't, a beta is not just for community fun but it's actually a major test so developers can see what good/bad about their game. Right now theyre probably busy 24/7 fixing everything and make sure the game will ship with the full package.
David Vonderhaar is a genius! It's like having two games in one, when multiplayer lobbies get sweaty and ugly you could go to BLACK OUT. I can't wait for October 12th.
This show was amazing! Thank you so much guys for making it happen, any info while we waiting for BO4 is very valuable, and there was a ton of info thank to you! And special thanks to David Vonderhaar, such an amazing person and so nice to see him contribute to BO fans! Thanks to the whole Treyarch studios, to every member of it, and guys just to let you know: we believe in you, and we love your games, keep up a best Call of Duty experience you always do!!!
Since the map is wide open and has limited cover in most areas, they could always do it like fortnite where its a big full moon that gives light to the map
I forgot about that map, been years since i played bf4, either way id still like to see a night time match, have night vision goggles as a pickup, or at least have an overcast with rain, maybe at Christmas time they can cover the map in snow and instead of 4wheelers we get snowmobiles
@@Power_to_the_people567 this should be a hardcore mode. Considering the game mode is named "Blackout", it would fit perfectly. Add special light sources that you need to use and make a few areas lit with fires or generators. It would add an interesting dynamic. Thermal scopes or night vision goggles would be cool.
That's a good idea, but I think the zombies will need to be AI not player controlled but the dead player spectating their own zombie that would be awesome.
That's pretty genius actually, if you die and become a zombie you can no longer win the match but you can roam and try to get kills. unlock zombie stuff... That being said, you should die from the storm or have a time limit to keep all the zombies out of the end game.
12:00 totally agree with him on AMO making amo auto pickup only end up having your friend using 9mm and .338 grabing all your 556 instead of telling you there is some and not carrying about all the amo they pick up ... i think having to picup the amo make it more interesting also been able to drop your amo for a friend to take is also great and feel better
Yeah at least auto pick up ammo for your two weapons. I would also like a single button press to loot bodies for their ammo without having to toggle through and leaving myself exposed. The argument about friends doesn't make sense to me as you can always ask for ammo so you're doing what you'd do in reality and pick up everything and then share if a squad mate needs something. Fortnite frankly fixed this. There's no meta in ammo, just an annoying moment as you look down make sure you're close enough and press the button for what imo is too long (it should be a quick press).
Firstly, want to say I have pre-ordered and am really excited for the game, ever since I played the Beta. For this reason I really like seeing the community engagement from Treyarch and my hats off to you guys. Because I like the game and want to see it updated more I think the muzzle flash issue is that the flash is too bright from the shooter's perspective, rather than the target player's perspective. Keep up the good work, from the beta it seems you guys made a great game.
That was a great interview! Did anyone else mute the audio from RU-vid and listen to it on Overcast or some other podcast source and watch the video! It was so cool!
I feel like this is a special CoD that's going to bring alot of people back and new ones in. I love how they pay attention to subtle gameplay mechanics like manually having to pick up ammo. What some people may conceive as a hassle actually changes the way you are going to loot in the long run.
12:56 The problem with muzzle flash is the first person effect not the muzzleflash from distance , Since blackout use a " first person and 3rd person " totally separated animation , you can still keep the 3rd muzzleflash as it is and reduce the impact of the muzzle flash effect in first person thats the point not the " muzzle flash in itself ... it wouldnt have any impact on the 3rd person caracter models flash to reduce the muzzleflash effect in first person perspective and thats what peoples are asking for ...
This is the first Call of Duty game that I’m excited to play! Blackout is awesome and I don’t mind 80 instead 100 players... just come out with more maps.
I wish they put out more games. (not like they aren't always at work) but I'd taje more chances just to hear from him more, he seems like a straight up decent guy and good company.
One thing I want to know is will we have emotes to do in Blackout so it can make the camera go to third person and we can see the emote and our characters outfit? That would be cool. I do hope they make Blackout standalone eventually so when Infinity Ward makes their cod they can add on and make their own map but with their characters, locations and lore. Same when it’s Sledgehammers turn, just expand on the map instead of making a new BR every year.
I'm kind of surprised he's keeps answering every question, I've now seen a couple of these vids now . I feel like this year they care a lot more ? Maybe because they dont want it to flop I guess I dunno, I feel a lot more excited and involved this time around . This cod could be the best since maybe black ops 2? I'm finally excited again for COD
How about they get rid of the quick menu in blackout on consoles and do the following:D-pad LEFT = cycle through healing items (LB/L1 to use)D-pad RIGHT = cycle through equipment/throwables (RB/R1 to use/throw)D-pad UP = cycle through perks D-pad DOWN = activate perks
U can keep the same inventory system for looting dead bodies but every category (weapon, meds, attachments, gagdgets, ammo) has its own row so if u need ammo u just click down till u get to the ammo and etc
I for one will be honest Dr. Disrespect is THE reason I pre-ordered, I just randomly came across him during all the beta play and just watching him talk about this game compared to others and see the gameplay had me so excited about this COD. Dr. Disrespect deserves a lot of respect for a lot of hype this game has received! Edit: I agree with the ammo pick-up, they obviously put a lot of thought into it and they're final answer makes a lot of sense. Auto ammo pick-up would be a hassle at letting team mates get the ammo they need. I'd have to find a hiding spot, drop the ammo, then allow them to pick it up (if i didn't auto pick it right back up), where as i can see the ammo and just say "hey, ammo you need is right here".
id like to see some weather changes while playing, or simply a day/night combination, like fortnite. rain would be cool. i would also like too see more visions in the storm and more vehicles
I don't know if anyone at Game Informer reads the comments, but If you do and do anymore questions and answers with David ect. could you ask if Blackout character skins/customisation is gonna be kept routed/realistic in the the current Black Ops/Treyarch games universe and won't have silly stuff like in games like Fortnite or even like BO3's Multiplayers DLC customisation/emotes. Thanks. (I don't have Twitter so I couldn't post a comment for this video)
