Seriously? What is the advantage of this thing over a milk jug? Are you folks across the pond not allowed to cast lines or something? Might injure a midge fly?
Each to their own of course but you may be good at casting but as soon as conditions change and it goes dark for example you are not going to able to cast to the same spot each time. Bait boats aren’t for everyone but they serve a purpose , same as a bait alarm does.

I've just never seen or heard of anything like this across the pond. Oh, you can go fishing at night here in Florida but you ain't doing it in the dark. LOL.
