Why is it that in the numerous times I've seen lisle and white that they've been battered and humilliated? Is there a debate I've missed where they have actually won and not been humilliated? Let's say that you are in a wild park's parking lot. A humongous bigfoot comes out of the trees and heads for your jeep. He grabs it and starts to roll it back and forth while making horrendous screams. He then lifts it up. You are sure that you are goner. But then, for some reason, something catches its attention in the woods. It drops your jeep and takes off. You are stunned and amazed that you are alive. The first thing you will do is start to tell folks what happened to you and what you saw. They likely won't believe you. You have no proof. Well, this is a crazy picture to draw to help you understand, but it makes a point. Just because others have not witnessed some really amazing interactions with Almighty God and have the witness of His Spirit within them doesn't mean that they don't have proof. It just means that it may not be proof they can share with others. Especially when those others are dead set against believing it in the first place. God meets us on an individual basis. I hope that God is revealed to you in ways that you can never refute. If your heart is sincere, and you are willing to align yourself with His good will, in Jesus's Holy Name, He will reveal Himself to you. You may not have proof to submit to others, but you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt.
