71 concepts makes an all in one kit that comes with everything you need which is what I use. Comes with Masking tape, paper bowl, Xacto knife, Q-tips, 30 minute 2 part epoxy, mixing sticks, grit of your choice. And they have an accompanying RU-vid video to walk you through the process. I did it to my M&P 2.0 and my ACE VR Handset. Super easy process
Me too. I love that kit and have done several of mine. Great instructional videos and it is nice to have everything already collected together for you.
Met a lot of dudes running this with glitter mixed in for ultimate competition flair lol. I don't think I have anything at the moment I would consider doing it to(m&p 2.0 polymer and Wilson Combat module feel aggressive enough for me) but it definitely makes sense on the many more slippery guns out there.
Wish I would have seen this a few days ago before I silicone carbided muh glocks with 36 grit. It went from a carry gun to a competition gun in an instant.
Glad I'm not the only person who thinks the Walther PDP is slippery. I feel like if you have soft hands, then maybe it has enough grip. PS. Woodworking clamps can be lightly clamped and they make sure the gun isn't going to flop over. Books work too of course.
