This 👆🏻 I had a homie I now call brother since HS and never once flirted or nothing. My mans felt exactly how they explained it but it wasn’t close to any of that at all! He was even the one who was honest with me when my ex cheated and I didn’t want to believe it. So i trusted him and we were super close. I attended his wedding in October with my man. But because my man thought there was something before the friendship kind of drifted away. We aren’t as close as before but that brother bond is forever there. So it definitely can happen.
