Derek, I don’t know ANY man who is so involved with their child. You both have so much to be proud of. Don’t let the inconsiderate people get you down. I found your channel recently and the only thing I can say its that its so refreshing watching both of u rise Jack, I don't understand why people would say Sarah doesn't love him like how they decided you don't love him, Jack wouldn't be the happy baby he is if he was feeling rejected by one of his parents and mostly by his mother. Keep the swimming up, it’s an essential life skill. My eldest daughter started at 7 mths old. She is 11yo and she is about to finish all swimming levels. My younger daughter due to Covid hasn’t had many swimming lessons. It’s so important they know how swim, it can save their life one day. You guys are so cute :)

I just came across your channel a few days ago and have been thoroughly enjoying your videos. It is very clear that you all love each other so much - it does my heart good to see you all delight in each other like you do. I think Derik is a bit of an anomaly from many dads - he's so completely JAZZED to be a dad and is just itching to spend every moment he can with Jack! This is wonderful to see! Many dads are pretty content to take a back seat, at least for a while, until the children are a bit older. But Derik clearly loves Jack and can't get enough of him! That and loving Sarah deeply are the two best things he can possibly do for Jack (and any others that come along...). Jack needs a bud!

You guys are doing a great thing giving your son ISR lessons. They really do save lives. Most parents don't realize that drowning is in the top 4 reasons of accidental death for children ages 0-4. The lessons get easier, trust me from an ISR parent! Great job!
