I got married at 23. I was with him since I was 15. I kept inquiring about marriage and it seemed he kept making excuses. It sort of sounded like what Quan is doing. Long story short, our marriage didn’t last long. We only spent 1 1/2 years together as a married couple, the rest of it we ended up being separated (it has been 4 years), we are now going through a divorce. I don’t believe he ever really wanted marriage. He wanted his cake and to eat it too. I gave him all of me before we got married so he didn’t take marriage serious. I will never allow myself to go through that again. I know you love each other but please don’t settle and allow yourself to be hurt. I believe Quan is a good man. Because of what I’ve been through I definitely understand not rushing into marriage but it just doesn’t make sense to me that a man who is so ready to have a child (which is a big commitment) and says he wants to be with you for life, isn’t ready for marriage. My prayers are going up for you both.

Yall get married when yall know is the right time, never rush! Everyone has their own timing. Me and my husband has been together for a total of 15 years and 7 months and we got married on our 6th year along with three children already born before marriage. The world we live in now moves at a different pace from what our Grandparents had. To say it's His plan to have a baby before marriage is a contradiction of what the word says. A baby is a blessing for sure, but please don't mistake the word when it comes to doing things in order.
