Yah I am so angry about Niantic not telling us about legacy evolutions! 😡 inexperienced players probably evolved their mons and got a legacy move they were not aware of. Old players are saving for legacy moves. Now I will have to wait till Decmber? 😒

So basically, you don't have to be lucky friends to trade cosmog because even if you get the worst for whatever friendship level you are, after fusing, it won't matter. So if anyone is willing to trade you a cosmog, offer them say an extra shiny and/or legendary and it would be worth it.

So terrible that they hid the LEGACY MOVES!!!! i was so gutted after i found out... also make content creator also look bad for missing this extremely important advice!!! they should REDO the legacy move evolution day in the compensation for rayquaza make it a 2 in 1 compensation

Thanks for the info! This reminds me of when I purified my 98% shadow Larvitar before I knew shadows were better. He has been nicknamed Regrets ever since. Glad I waited to fuse my Necrozmas or I'd be SOL wanting to unfuse and fuse again based on your info.

There is so much missing information. If I knew about this the event would have actually felt special. I played f2p and it just felt like a regular day with more spawns and raids. I would have been very excited if I knew

oh yeh the party quests were soo nice, i was basically stuck on page 1 of the party special research, but managed to knock out like 80 party challenges in 2 days

Necrozma consumes lunala or solgaleo That’s the best way I’ve heard it explained and it makes it make sense that necrozma stats are what stay

I dont understand why u cant get energy by walking ur necrozma.. also it was so dumb that u cant get special background if ur necrozma dosent have that wormhole.. i paid ticket and all and i could not get decent iv necrozma with wormhole.. so that background was just wasted on me. I just hope they would never made this event so rng based. Like how the hell normal player can ever get shiny one and special background in it and decent ivs too like jesus.

I did over 160 raids and did not get a 4 star, sad face. Got one 15/14/15 though. Definitely saving for lucky trades! My GF only did 6 raids so she sadly didn't get the fusion, really hoping they fix this and let people get more energy!

I feel like most of the confusion surrounding Neceozma comes from them calling it a “fusion,” which implies that you’re taking two Pokémon and fusing them to create a third. When you reframe it as a “forme change” that consumes a second Pokémon to work, it makes more sense that only Necrozma’s data matters (except for the background situation).

We should really get 100 fusion energy every 20km if Necrozma is our buddy Pokémon, that would be a great change!

Love this video, you’re doing us a huge favor with this information. I know it’s a little late for me since I’ve already fused both a dawn wings and dusk mane for the research. But none the less this video is what I’ve been looking for after go fest. I’ll try and be a little more prepared next time.

I didnt even notice my Necrozma fusion lost the Lunala background until later.. now I cant be bothered unfusing. Idk why they dont add the solo background or at least tell us its gonna be gone. Also I just happened to notice on my phone in the last 30 minutes of the event a post about the elite TM moves.. I just yelled it out and saved a TON of people elite TMs people were so stoked but also annoyed Niantic didnt make it more obvious. I had a TON of fun this event don't get me wrong.. but would be nice to have more transparency. Its almost like they purposely didn't tell us about the elite moves and fusion backgrounds so we spend more money down the road.. very suspect.

Got a shiny Dratini and enough candy to evolve to Dragonite and was surprised but the Draco Meteor, glad I lucked out on that one. Good video, answered a lot of questions.

I’m still working on the ticketed research since I’m waiting for free daily raid passes to satisfy the raid requirements. I would like to say, not knowing about the legacy moves was very irratateing, but the party play and the routes were on the blog poast, as they were added arround the same time as the announcement that espeon and umbreon would be in the wild for ticket holders. Never the less, thank you for answering all the questions, it’s very helpful!

I knew about the route spawns before the event because it was actually stated on niantic’s website. The evolution moves were also mentioned.

When you fuse a Solgaleo that has the special research solar background with a Necrozma that has the wormhole background, it combines the two into a really cool solar wormhole background. A shundo with that background would be the rarest Dusk Mane Necrozma possible.

I have two shiny Necrozma both 91.1% IV. One is 15/13/13 and one is 13/15/13. Which should I fuse with Lunala and which with Solgaleo? I also personally care more about the Lunala fusion because I think it looks cooler if that helps.

Still got more questions, since apparently I've been spoiled for choice. 1. Do I understand correctly, that the unique Sol/Luna background on the fusion will only work with the wormhole background and not with a in-person Go Fest location card? 2. I got a 12/15/15 Solgaleo from Madrid, with a location card as well. Keep for PvP or fuse, is 12 attack too low? 3. Dilemma: I've got two hundo Necrozmas, one with a Madrid catch card and one without any background at all. I also got 3 Solgaleos (one 12/15/15 with a Madrid catch card from the previous question) and two Lunalas, one of which has a moon background. I of course will be trading for shinies (got 3 in a row on day one as well) but considering all we know about backgrounds, PVP stats etc: what combinations would you fuse?

Tbh the fusion energy should be free when we already fused them like you need to do 10-12 raids and sometimes you lose the raids and the remote raids are overpriced they should add a discount when there’s events or smt bc sometimes you can only stay at home and you can’t go out.

0:47 bro this is facts!! I literally saw Dandy evolve a Garchomp for Earth Power, and had just minutes left of the event to evolve one of my own. No time to lucky trade or roll for a good IV. It’s not good enough you bought a ticket, spend hours trying to get all the pokes you can during the event so they are tagged as “event” pokemon. They should just allow the CD moveset for any event Pokemon evolved.

8:00 page 4 gives you the fusion energy to do it. I fused both of mine and still can do another

They also had Last Resort when evolving Eevee to Umbreon or Espeon . So another moveset that wasn't announced . I think they did the samething for Sinnoh tour too . Where every mon that was spawning that had a previous CD could evo to get it's Legacy move . So this might be a common theme / formula moving forward for big events like Region Tours & GO Fests

Main series player here, lunala solgaleo necrozma are ultra beast. Also ultra beasts are considered legendary pokémon whether people like it or not. Base stats. So when beast balls were announced I was thrilled before we started as this is going to be easy to catch necrozma.

Hopefully Niantic will have those fuse candies in special, or event researches.

it was so messed up that they didn't talked about the legacy moves. the day before i was doing the teams for each ultrabeast that i wanted to raid (necro, kartana and xurk) and i managed to get a 98 Deino in that google play partner research, and i evolved it the day before cause i thought i would forget it.

I recently started raiding/building teams and it can be overwhelming. I've seen tier lists go off different scales "ER vs DPS" and some use the optimal movements even though they are different type moves. Anyways sorry for tldr but I would love to see your take on how to approach building teams in general. Love your vids, keep em comin

My research Cosmog has floor IV's xD saving for a lucky trade with my neighbor. Suggestions wise, PVP content can be really entertaining. @CallumOnToast maxed a bday hat Grimer and took it to great league battles for example, great content. Honestly I like watching PVP more than playing it.

honestly! i did get lucky by ending up with a Lucky shundo Gible on day one. and had i not been in a hurry to get that beast to lvl50 and fully evolved, i would have missed on Earth power. i even joked to my friend who made that random trade with me, that he owes me a Etm as i now have to use one. only to then be confused on weren't that Earth power a legacy move.

Fuse a background Necrozma with the solga or lunala with their special background to get a mixed background as a result. This is mentioned no where. I wasted 2000 energy to redo my fusions since I had two Hundos but only 1 with the background 😂

I'm glad I was able to do as many Necrozma raids as I did. I have 5,180 Solar fusion energy and 5,830 Lunar fusion energy, and that's after fusing and unfusing with a Lunala once for the research.

I happened to evolve my Gible and learned this. I did other trials with Pokémon not knowing the if this would work and my Deino, but Pokémon not feature in habitats didn’t work. I did them one hour before midnight.

Just wondering, what was the shiny rate of necrozma with ticket because I did 97 raids with zero shiny’s!!! 😭 And also wondering what’s the chance of getting a Hundo without a background or with a background because I lucky got two in a row!!!😅

It looks like you can change the special/legacy move but I'm not brave enough to try it. In the case of dusk mane, I think it might be better if it were changed... at least in terms of GBL.

Question regarding fusion. I have two necrozmas and I can't decide which one in should use for fusion. 1. 96% (14/15/14) 2. A shiny 91% (12/14/15). Slightly worse IV but shiny, compared to 96% non shiny. I already have a 100% dawn wing hunde, but can't decide for the dusk mane.

i got a solgaleo with a background and it looks awesome! But seeing the fused background in your video, it makes me not wanting to fuse this one only because the fused background looks meh compared to solgaleo's background

For question 10-11 I saw in another vid that Dawn wings need the max defence ivs otherwise it makes a slightly bad palkia match up extremely bad. For dusk mane both ivs flip the rhyperior match up to a negative due to the hp I think. Do with that what you will.

IMO once you get a three star Pokémon IVs really don’t make a big difference. People hunt so hard for hundos but it’s really not that big of a deal

My question would be the following: I understand that the IVs of Necrozma pass to the fusion, but do you have to max both lokemon to get the optimal CP fusion, or just necrozma?

I did what I could for this even, ended up getting a single shiny Dawn Wings Necrozma that's pretty solid, but I ended up having to do army stuff. I got some cool stuff, but not all that I really wanted, but oh well

Funny enough I fought enough raids, fused with lunala, didn’t catch any shinies at all, and then caught a shiny Necrozma from the research lol. Now I’m gonna fuse it with my solgaleo

For the ppl that didn’t play the main games or watch the anime yes Necrozma is a Ultra Beast. They some add it to the legendary category so you can find it easier in Pokémon Go.

I have a question: 15/13/10 cosmog 11/11/15 cosmog 12/10/10 cosmog 13/14/15 cosmoem 11/12/15 solgaleo Which ones should I fuse and in which version. I want a regular sol, regular lun, Dawn and Dusk. Which is best for what version? (So which Cos should I keep in their "normal" form? And which fuse? I have a 100% necr and a 15/15/14)

Pretty sure you can easily get Cosmog XL candy by walking your Cosmog/evolutions. The chances for XL candy are pretty good, and now even higher with the season bonus. I don't see why thst wouldn't work with cosmog.

I chose to fuse my shiny 15/12/10 Dusk Mane over my normal 15/15/13 one. Is it wrong to have done the shiny over the regular one with better IV’s? They both have max attack, so I just figured get the shiny one because it looks so dope dude

8:00 The step 4 reward is "1000 fusion energy", so it's literally impossible to get to the step 5 "fuse Necrozma" research and not have the fusion energy to do it. Now, it's possible you can't fuse Necrozma for other reasons, but lack of energy isn't one of them.

My Umbreon learned Last Resort, luckily I hadn’t used the name trick.
