Agree, once Thrawn returns, Tantiss is a relatively intact & secret former imperial facility that the Imperial remnants would use.

However... if you look at the panning shots of the facility there are at least two mountains. This makes me wonder where certain research was being done and if other labs are in better condition. Based on Heir to the Empire, we could see Thrawn recover cloaking technology from another part of the facility along with mass production cloning cylinders elsewhere. Perhaps sith cultists, Gideon, etc, salvage the necromancer stuff but don't recover the other tech.

What kills me is that nobody thinks that a secondary depository site is necessary. You keep everything at one location. It is like what we do now storing data "on the cloud". Even organizations that house their own data, will do backups to a remote site and will do backups regularily. Keeping it at one location only is a huge risk. It is like the Death Star. Where do you think the second one came from? To build it that quickly from scratch would be unrealistic. The second one was the demo / test structure. It is where they would do proof on concept on all the different engineering marvels that would go into building a structure like the Death Star. So you have the bones in place and only need to build off those bones. Thus you get a second Death Star in just a few years. The whole plot of Return of the Jedi is based on the Empire thinking that where they were at in the construction of the second one was "good enough" to complete the mission The Emporer had in mind.

I do like the Disney plus stuff. However the I can not stand the Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker. That being said I trust whatever Dave Filoni has planned

The Bad Batch wouldn't have been one of the early generations. They would have only come into existence once the concept of Clone Troopers had been proven and there was deemed a need to try to improve on the current model of clone. So I'd argue they didn't exist even when events of Revenge of the Sith. So they were likely mid production product. And I'd even argue that the attempts to improve the base model of the clones ultimately was deemed a failure and only Clone Force 99 included models that were deemed "good enough". I mean, take Wrecker for example. Vast improvement in strength but below average IQ. Crosshair had higher than average intelligence, but loyalty was questionable. Tech had a high understanding of technology, but lacked physical attributes. Only Hunter seemed to have a general improvement in what they were looking for but even then that would put the success rate at well below 1 percent. And his qualities really only could be taken advantage of in isolated, recon type missions. His skill set would be put to waste as a standard front line soldier. So if they are mid production models, I'd argue they are probably close to dying by the time of the first trilogy. And to be honest, those troopers went through hell. More than average wear and tear on the body due to the type of missions they did. Ask any retired veteran who has been to war. You feel every bump, hit, scrap, or cut you experienced 20 years ago. And you just can't perform like you could when you were 20. That fall you took from 20 feet and landed on your feet, you feel in your arthretic knees 25 years later. And by the time of the events of a New Hope you have two speeds. Slow and dead stop. Every movement you do requires you to basically shift into gear. You aren't jumping out of bed running two miles before breakfast. Hell, you feel lucky to just get out of bed.

My first assumption was that Rex had given the batch an update after he joined the rebellion in season two, and that’s around the time when omega joins the rebellion

1 BBY would be season 4 of Rebels, 3 BBY & 2 BBY would be season 2 & season 3 respectively.

I get what you're saying, but the Empire left Lothal alone cos shortly after Rebels were the battles of Scarif and Yavin, major victories for the Rebellion. The Empire had to focus on them, rather than retake a random planet. Sabine says as much. I agree about Pabu tho.

I think all of those who knew about Pabu were probably killed on Tantiss

I personally think that Palpatine planned to destroy Lothal with the Death Star, and when the first one blew up, he simply put it in the queue for when the second one was completed, which also failed to materialize.

They’ve made it clear they were split up not long after Lothal, I mean Ezra only just got back, Zeb was with Kallus for a while then joined the Air Force, Sabine stayed on Lothal, and Hera was a general and mother, their story during the OT is probably the simplest part of all of their lives

@@Fuzzmo147 Ezra saved her through the world between worlds, preventing Vader from killing her, but he did so in the future, so she had to lay low to not disrupt galactic history for a few years, she ended up making a reappearance to the Ghost crew at some point in time before the Empire turned Mandalore to glass and then took Sabine on as her apprentice afterwards, she also met Luke Skywalker at some time as when they were together in The Book of Boba Fett that was not their first meeting, but as of the present the timing of their first meet is unknown

Agreed. That's why I was thiking of hearing her over an intercom or something. Small cameo, very recognizable voice, no need for it to be too adjusted to fit. So you wouldn't even have the problem of casting.

@riccardogemme especially with Filoni feeling some kind of way turning his character over to someone else. You'll probably never see Omega or Ahsoka in anything unless Filoni has a hand in it.

Radiation is not like other environmental hazards - not only does it directly cause damage, it _spreads_ by making surrounding materials radioactive too. IMO, Vader would need a special - and _disposable_ - armored over-layer for radioactive areas. Edit: This is why the story of The Radioactive Boy Scout is worth knowing, BTW - the contamination he caused was the _worst_ part of that incident.

I imagine in the Ahsoka novel bird skull died another way. In the Ahsoka short they flip this so the 6th brother died in his place. Thats how I get round it. Mythology, 1 Inquisitor dies in those moments but not clear which one.

Yes, that is certainly a way of addressing potential inconsistencies. I kept having the idea of a "rotational induction cycle" for the Inquisitorius: if one dies (Brother or sister.) & there's plenty of applicants, why not have a replacement? As for the strange numerical designation, I guess that's their original rank post-graduation...

If the Hidden path was the next animated series, maybe she would show up in it. I’m sure we’d definitely get to see more inquisitors, which is why this particular “Tale” being featured would make sense

Filoni moved it forward and left it vague when he could have not moved her story forward at all (like with clone Dogma for example) or brought her back and outright killed her immediately (like Cad Bane in BoBF), plus the inquisitor Lyn was turned back to the light, he’s teasing something there, will he do something with it now? Probably not, but someday absolutely
