Hi Kavya, I'm applying to MMSc at waterloo . How can i connect with you in regarda to the application? Please share your email id. Appreciate Your time
Hi Tahseer. Im waiting for my SDS application for 4 months now and I need to defer my future start date to Jan 2023. SHould I continue to wait or should I withdraw and submit non-SDS application? And is it possible for me to submit both SDS and non-SDS application? If so, i would like to try out to see which one has the faster results. Thank you for your time!
@@tahseer brother I have paid my first year tution fee and my gic too . I have also scored 7 bands in my IELTS exam can I still apply through non SDS ?. If I do so will this lower my chance of receiving visa ,moreover I have chosen coast Mountain college which is located in outer region of British Columbia .
if we apply for education loan and we get only sanction letter and we have not paid the fees because bank will disburse only after you get your visa so in such case weather application will be considered for SDS or Non SDS category
Hello I have applied for sds visa on 10th June did my biometrics on 13th June I haven’t received any reply and am starting school on September so can I apply to non sds now
I'm from Nepal and on average non sds processing times are 2months+. Some people still haven't received decision from 2023 September. But our applications are processed in India so wouldn't the speeds be same?
What is non sds success rate right now? But sds requires ITR and bank balance proof.. I don't have that much funds except GIC and tution fees i paid already. Am I elligble for non sds? What other documents do I need?
Hi Tahseer, If I paid the full tuition fees for my graduate program for the college and then opened a GIC account with 15k CAD, will I still need to show bank statements ? Or do I need to prove that how did I pay the above fees ?
If we come in Study visa to Canada , how much possible to get PR or work permit… if company select, they will give permanent work or like only internships?..
I mentioned in my sop that my parents are funding my studies. But, it is from my savings account that my parents provided me with. 'is it ok to not show their ITR but this savings account bank statement?
How to give explanation for gap year? I will be transferring into McGill University from a uni in India, after taking a gap year. I haven't resigned from my uni in India yet. Will it be a problem?
Hey, I've been having this same issue with your kindle-to-notion thing. I don't know anything about code and at this point I cannot find any possible solution to it. This is the error it keeps appearing every single time I try to sync my new highlights nbody.children.length should be ≤ `100`, instead was `308`.\ body.parent.page_id should be defined, instead was `undefined` Can you help me? Or update the repo on github it doesn't work properly By now I have an average understandting on coding, and I'm well versed on your particular repo, but I cannot connnect the dots, it's not my area of expertise. Thanks
Hi Tahseer, I got the offer letter from York University and required either to pay the complete fee of 8 months duration program or pay the deposit fee CAD 4560 to secure LOA and in the received LOA, University required balance payment fee to be paid before 12 jan and I am applying under non sds. Can I file under non sds on the basis of deposit fee paid (received Loa) or do I need to pay the complete fee.
Hi please please reply, I have 6 years of gap in study and I have 10 backlogs. I have done bachelors in IT and I have enough documents to justify the gap. I have scored overall 58 in PTE. Should I apply for Visa in Non sds visa?
Hi Tahseer! great video and great content as always. Regarding Canada Study visa, I have shown an amount as proof of funds in my bank account for which my bank account statement is submitted with the visa application. My question is from thereon, do I need to maintain or retain the mentioned balance amount (which was shown in my bank account during visa filing) in the bank account under my study visa results have come or can I break the account to withdraw the funds, if Yes then will breaking of funds before my application results will lower down the possibility of Study visa in Canada.
Hi ! We are applying via SDS route. I graduated from US and have applied for M.S in UofT. My question is abt IELTS exemption for SDS Visa. Any info/guidance for same?
Hi Tahseer - Thank you for sharing informative videos on canada study visa. I need your suggestion. My study visa refused under SDS where the study is inconsistent with work experience. I applied for Graduate certificate in Project management where in my past 5 years work experience is a Project co-ordinator role. I paid 1st year tuition fees, GIC & scored IELTS - band 7. Medical & Biometrics also completed. Need your suggestion if i can go via Non SDS with a better written SOP.
Hi Sivarambabu! Have you got clarity on this? I also applied under SDS category and received a refusal. I'm conflicted whether I should apply under non- SDS or defer my admission.
Hi Tahseer , Nice video. My medical done on 7th May and , biometric on 23 May 2022, I applied through SDS. Medical still not updated( medical center said they have already uploaded long back), when can I expect PPR?
I have already applied for SDS visa and got rejected. My ielts score is 7 and made payments of one year tuitions fee. Shall i apply for non sds Visa? What about success possibility?
Hi, I wanted to seek your knowledge on something. I've two questions. Can a fresher engineer seek a job in Canada once they get work permit? Or in some cases without the work permit. To be clear, if someone has applied for work permit and they get it, are they eligible to seek a job there since the company won't have to sponsor their visa if they have no work experience? Another thing, does internship experience counts as an actual work ex? If I've 12 months of integrated work experience in the related field gained through internships, can I put it as my work experience? Would highly appreciate your response to these questionsquestions 🤗
1. You can seek a job offer without a work permit also. You will need work permit to start working (legally). 2. It can be counted as a relevant experience for your resume (profile) but not towards the CEC for PR.
@@tahseer I looked it upon the ICCR website and found that if I've worked part time too, completing 1 year of experience somehow, I'll be eligible as long as the it was a paid internship and it wasn't a part of my curriculum. Thoughts?
Very informative video. Please answer these two questions I have already paid 1 year tuition fees, gic file karna rehta hai bas i was going for sds initially but now i wanna take non sds, how should i proceed? bas apply kardu koi dikkat toh nai? non sds mei gic hoti ya kya hota? second is why do agents don’t recommend non sds route? meri counsellor kehri sds better hai non sds mei rejections bohot hote hain time kam nai lagra wgera, please btao kuch dikkat hoti kya? ya seedha boldu non sds hi karo without any doubt? please help urgentt
Just a query, 1) Is study visa part of this study permit application and does passport request requires any additonal form to be filled? 2) What is the maximum time limit of your study permit being approved through non sds category? 3) if work is not necessary part of our study can we do part time jobs along with our study ?
1. Study visa is what you will get on your passport. Study permit is what you will get after landing in Canada. After you get PPR, you will have to fill additional forms (basic info only) 2. Duration of your study (mentioned in LoA) 3. Yes
My son got admission in Conestoga college with dulingo score course is only 8 months so we paid full fees and GIC. IElts score is 5.5 in one module overall is 6 can I go for non sds
Quick question, did you have your father's/parents bank statements attested? I have evidence of work from Mila and a scholarship/exemption from UdeM so my fees are reduced but since my parents are sponsoring most of the remaining fees I am putting only their details for financial proof. Now I have an attested bank certificate with all the account sum totals and they match with individual statements but the individual bank statements are electronic ones u get through net banking and hence not attested. Would that be a problem in this situation? Did you get your parent's bank statements attested by a bank? PS- I have a gic and paid tuition fees although idk when I'll get a receipt for that lol. Edit: Also in the ircc portal do I mention the IME or the UMI (under upfront medical) or is either fine ?
Hi, I'm applying through non-sds, my college accepts Duolingo, and can provide me with LOA. Is it ok to go with it? And is it true that IELTS actually strengthens my application? If so, do you think I should go with DUOLINGO or IELTS? Thank you
My agent dropped my visa yesterday on SDS category of tofel score after getting 1 refusal so do they reject me again for applying visa on SDS category with tofel score?
How much did you scored for IELTS? Also If we are not paying full year fees and applying through non SDS and have 5.5 in one band do we need to rewrite IELTS even after not paying full year fees..? Reply sir
@@tahseer Are you sure ?coz my agency is asking me to rewrite exam? As there is a chance of refusal coz of that!!They already know that I am going through non sds stream. Im worried.
Same doubt for me too my son got 5.5 in one module after 3 attempts consultant ask to take TOFEL because if we get low mark in language they will reject even in non sds they said pl pl please reply
My application is on nonSDS. My college request only first semester fee but My agent said that if I want to incraese visa approval chance, I should pay one year tuition fee. Is that right?
Bro i have a doubt, I has every document which is required to apply for SDS but, I am planning to apply for Non- SDS for this sep 22 intake .Because i don't have enough time. What should i do, without removing any of the SDS docs? Please reply bro
The best option in my opinion would be to respond no to "Have you taken a language test?". You will be directed to the non-SDS portal. IELTS isn't required for non-SDS.
@@tahseer in that case, if I later put my IELTS scorecard in the client info, or just mention my score of 8.5 on LOE, will I get rejected? Is there any other way of ensuring non SDS without lying first? 😅
Hi, I already have an admission (from Duolingo) and paid my tuition for first sem. I don't plan to pay GIC or full year tuition so my application would be non sds. Can you please let me know if any of approved language tests is mandatory for visa (non sds) application. I plan to apply for my visa in a week and I can't have my test done anytime sooner than a month now. I don't want to have my application process delayed if language scores (of any sort) are not mandatory for the process. Please do let me know if you know of anyone who haven't submitted any language score reports at all and still got visa approved in non-sds category. Please!
@@karthik24 I did not quite understand what exactly you are asking when you say which method of application. I submitted an application form available on the college/university website with everything that's needed to submit along with it, and received an admission in 2 weeks.
@@karthik24 i applied through non sds and was rejected in October 22. They told I'm too qualified for a student visa and are non convinced enough to approve my application, I still cannot process the reason for rejection. However that turned out to be the best thing that happened to me considering today's situation in Canada. I'd have been graduated by now or in very near future exactly when the govt decided to stop giving pgwp and recession at peak, housing crisis, and a lot more. I guess many universities are now placing a ban on international applications for a period of 1-2 years until the situation gets better. Sorry for sharing my personal opinion when not asked for but I hope I answered the needful. Best wishes
People says if you answer the questionnaire (i.e make sure to mark one of the eligibility of SDS as No, to file your visa thru Non-SdS.) Does qualifying for sds and still applying through non SDS can lead to rejection?
If you qualify for SDS, you will be sent to the SDS portal. You can't choose non-SDS. You will have to deliberately not qualify for SDS. You can say you didn't take IELTS as it's not required for non-SDS.
@@tahseer i just realised there are more ways to get disqualified for SDS- if I haven’t paid one year tuition upfront and put NO to that question, that should be enough to get directed to the Non SDS portal?
I have overall band 6 and two 5.5 bands in ielts , I have all other documents ready but everyone saying to retake ielts (OR) other elp tests to apply, can I apply with my current score through non-sds...what are the chances. Please answer

due to the pandemic visas are taking any time between 1.5 to 3 months. lodge the visas approx 3 months prior to the start date so as to avoid any delay in the outcome.
