With 5mm spacers, do you get greater wheel spray (road debris) on the rear quarter panel? I already put Clearfilm on the lower rear panel forward of the wheel well, which has helped protect it. Great Video
@@camelsacstock BMW 20” have 225 front and 255 rear. I’d put 245 on front and 255 an rear - should give you less understeer and more grip on front axle
Are you guys telepathic? You answered all the questions I had regarding spacers, lowering springs and wheels on the M340i 😉 The lads from PSR are about to offer the M-W1 and M-W3 and I think they are mint! Do you need to run spacers with Motech Performance wheel (ie. are they the same width compared to BMW OEM wheels)?
I have had my G22 M440i lowered by Motech and spacers put on. The stance of the car has improved significantly and the handling is better too. The beauty with the Eibach springs is that they're manufactured to the weight of the specific model so the rebound is better. Other manufacturers just produce a generic spring for the whole model range. Before, my car would bounce over bumps whereas now, it doesn't but because of the way the springs are engineered, they are pliant enough to absorb the rebound without crashing or bouncing. There's barely any difference in ride quality so imo, the Eibachs are a win win. The spacers finish off the look perfectly as before, the wheels were way too far in board of the arches. Adding the 12 and 15mm spacers pushes them out just enough to complete the look. I'd say that spacers would almost be a prerequisite to fitting the springs - they both work perfectly together.
