I am Still in the second semester hence I have not experienced that myself yet, but I would share my strategies for the same based on my previous work experience. Hii This is manikanta recently I got acceptance from Clark University for fall 2023 and they are asking for non refundable deposit of 500 dollars I am still waiting for other University decisions so anything I can do to extend the deposit payment as it is Jan 6 th only 12 days left ?

Hey ManiKanta, I would suggest dropping an email to the Admissions office stating your request and I think they can grant you some reasonable extensions. However, The deposit is something every student has to pay for confirming their seat for college,

no, English language test is not the criteria for deciding Scholarship. Try to talk with your admissions manager.

Hey My UG is in Bachelor of Science in Physics,mathematics and computer science. Now I got an admit in clark for MSIT. Can you throw some light on MSIT program offered by Clark? I mean the key points to be highlighted if incase the question comes like WHY THIS COURSE? Also regarding the housing especially for girls. Is it safe to stay outside the university? Hey Ayush, I have no personal experience in either of the colleges except Clark so I can't tell which ones will be best. I would suggest you look for specific reasons like 1. Tuition fees for the whole course. 2. Living Expenses (mainly Accommodation) in the area of each University. 3. Alumni Connection (Try to Reach out to Seniors from the particular Department). For Clark, I can Guide you. Based on this information, You can go ahead with the most feasible choice.

it is good as far as i know, but a lot of work has to be done by self learning. All courses are very basic so don't expect too much of advanced teaching here.

Attending for fall MSCS....Is it ok to stay in boston and travel to clark...do we have any public transportation available from boston to clark? Holding F1 , are we allowed to work offcampus part time jobs during the study period ?

It's not a good idea to stay in Boston and travel to Clark frequently, as Public transport options are very less. By car (Uber / Lyft) it takes 1 hour and the cost is around 75--120 $ one side. And on F1, working off-campus is not allowed. The only legal way to work is on-campus 20 hours/week.

yes, there are plenty of options. And you can cook whatever you want if you live off campus. We get all the Indian Groceries here.

Clark has a very good acceptance rate for STEM courses, but I am not sure about the Environmental Science stream. However, It is a good course as much as I know.
