hello, sir thank you this is what i need and you have to know that..this tutorial is the only one that helps for railway contact analysis. but sir...i need ur help. when i made the pressure analysis it shows to me with the rectangular shape of the contact patch. but the needed for my research is elliptical....according to hartzian theories. if it is possible i need you stepwise analysis starting from modeling of the projectile curve up to end within this week. thank you so much...i do not have words.
hello!i need some advice! !i have a composite and i;m working on rve.i want my fibers to be bonded to the matrix but a gap error keeps annoying me and there is no convergence .Ansys suggest that i do something with the pinball radius.what adjustmnets should i do to solve my problems?i'm using mpc , bonded, assymetric. thank you.

I got a problem with my analysis 'cause I've been trying to define a contact between a concave and convex solid but it has been really hard. The results are really crazy and the message reported by ansys the all time is: warnig underconstraned... i dont know why. More else the secund piece doesn't be affected by the other. the problem I'm trying to simulate is a femoral component and a tibial insert component for a prosthesis. thanks a lot for your help Mr....

GRS CAD/CAE Hi, I am facing a problem while i was doing a linear buckling analysis in workbench, with this your video, i came to know that how to give the contacts. it was helpful and for my model during the contacts at the time of solve its asking MPC formulation, but i checked with frictional and frictionless contact we can not give MPC as formulation...will you help me doing this analysis ? i'll send the result file, and one more thing to ask was, during Generate interaction result the yellow one is not getting, don't know why...and last in between the analysis you have copied something from Notepad, what is that is that any code or what.....
Is it possible to apply the force in x direction instead and see how much force I need to switch from a sticking contact to a slipping one? If I try it, I already get no convergence at the very first substep of 0seconds. It works in an explicit dynamic simulation but I'm looking for a way to build it into a static structural model.

I'm having trouble importing the contact region sketches from Solidworks to Ansys Workbench 18. I've tried .sldasm, .igs, and .step. I added these sketches in the Assembly as 3-D sketches, but they don't show up in Design Modeller. Any help is appreciated.
