So savage.. loved it so much. I remember once when a mum was in the background helping and Dec called the Mum thick!! Just brilliant!!! This is why they are still around - they didn't baby kids they had fun!!
I remember in the end they had to give this prize away cos nobody got it and it honestly got funnier every week. At one point someones mum was in the background coaching em and Dec screamed YER MUMS RUBBISH AS WELL and it was honestly as a kid just...peak comedy.

The answer was Twee Bee. Just for those of you who this is driving you crazy. Apparently after 3 weeks and 15 callers noone could get it and it was abandoned for a new one.
Presenters are no longer big, unique personalities with genuine gift of the gab. They are now ex-reality TV contestants who get presenting jobs because they're on the same casting agency's books production hires everyone else from. They have zero talent, so uninvested producers give them scripts to recite like the lip-filler-enhanced vacuous robots they are.
Just showed my 7 year old this coz I couldn't get the wonkey donkey song out of my head after all these years, they just don't make them like they use to. Use to love this show
My sister entered this and managed to get on TV and she won. I remember she won an Xbox,a tv and a lot more. Mum was supposed to of recorded it but she recorded the wrong side.
I used to watch this show religiously as a kid. Saturday morning TV now is terrible in comparison. It's either repeats, cookery, property or talk shows.
British Kids TV was absolutely unhinged and I’m convinced the only reason they got away with so much is because most people weren’t recording. 😂 Dick and Dom would never get on TV now, let alone Dec screaming that kids are thick and shouldn’t have been born 😂
grew up watching ant and dec (pj & duncan).. they are legends of tv...and still young.. i still find this wonkey donkey funny and i'm nearly 25.. dec is funny as hell
never said i was :) i'm a massive ant and dec fan and always have been growing up. my older brother used to love sm;tv and said that i should watch it, so i searched it on youtube and have watched a lot of clips. i wish i was alive when it was on, because there must be HOURS worth of footage that i haven't seen!
"It's gotta rhyme!!" - Used to love SMTV when I was a kid. Shame there isn't many 'Challenge Ant' videos around. That was so funny. Ant would take it serious and stop some little kid winning a playstation and bike and shit. Then shout "You're thick" at them . No good Saturday morning TV these days.
