There are some fun interesting facts about Ant-Man. In the comic books Hank Pym was the original yellow jacket after he took on a more villainous outlook on life when he attacked his wife and had her almost eaten by ants. When Hank became a villain in the comic book it was due to his personality. I think a similar thing happened in the MCU history but instead of it being due to his personality it was due to the Pym particles effecting his brain chemistry like they were doing to Darren cross. Also it's interesting this movie takes place after age of Ultron when in the comic books it was Hank Pym who was the creator of Ultron.
You are wasting your breath and time. This is not the type to care that deep about this kind of stuff. But i am certain you do this for every reactors channels.
so context for Hank's anger issue when he snaps at Hope. In the comics, lets just say that Hank wasn't shy about pimp slapping The Wasp. He was very into the whole "women should be seen and not heard" mindset. So was Mr Fantastic. In fact, Reed famously said once "Now Sue, what did I tell you? Wives are for kissing, not talking. Now get back to the kitchen." Hank snapping at Hope at the computer, showing his anger was a reference to the old days where he wouldnt be shy about domestic violence.
You're just being unnecessarily loud, him snapping at Hope wasn't a reference to shit, he just snapped at her, which is something old and cranky people are seen to do occasionally, now him being however you've described him to be towards The Wasp in the comics may be true, but that behaviour has no reference in this film, you're gonna have to do better than picking at normal behaviour to make your reference relevant.
Great reaction. This is a fun movie. The Thomas the Tank Engine hit Darren Cross looks like it's going to be terrible for him. Then we see the long shot and the train simply stops and falls off the track. One of the best things about the MCU is the organic ways they get our heroes to fight against each other. The fight between Falcon and Ant-Man is a fun one. When Ant-Man falls on the car the man in the car is Saturday Night Alum Garrett Morris. He played Hank Pym Ant-Man in a skit on SNL.
Scott was an idiot. All he had to do was throw the damn suit over the wall and he would not have gotten caught. And Hanks daughter is just petty for calling the cops.
